Dude they won't play him over 30 min consistently and he doesn't even start when Mcgee is out. Now he got called out by Kidd in a contract year lol
is this supposed to be some kind of surprise. you would think this guy has been just killing the league the way the wood only fan club have been posting Christian Wood was limited to just five points on 2-of-6 shooting Sunday, to go with 10 rebounds and two turnovers in 24 minutes off the bench. Wood has been abysmal over the past three games with meager averages of 9.0 points, 7.7 rebounds and not much else on 47.6% shooting from the field and 71.4% at the line. His scoring and rebounding numbers have been pedestrian, and he’s not bringing anything else to the stat sheet aside from turnovers (2.7). Wood has not responded well to the reserve role, and while Dallas could certainly use some more scoring in their first unit, Jason Kidd is apparently happy with using JaVale McGee as a faux-starter with Wood, Dwight Powell and Maxi Kleber fighting for the scraps.
Wood can never b a building block b/c he refuses to do what big men are supposed to do. Imagine if he has the aggression and hustle of garuba, team would be bidding for his service. Man can put up the points, but screening, rebounding and defense? nah
Wood started out well ( as expected), got in his own head thinking he's a superstar (as expected), started playing worse (as expected). It's the Danuel House cycle all over again
you are just a hater and the franchise will soon prove you wrong! he is a 7 footer than can shoot 40% on 3s and these are like just 10 guys in the nba... he cant volume scoring if hes gona play just 20 minutes
Yeah it’s going to be prove me wrong. I lost track of how many years someone like you has told me that. I’m still waiting and years will go by with your constant whining boohoo he can’t score if he plays only 20 mins. He’s playing that much bc he’s benched for being so sorry. Yeah I do hate players that are losers like wood. I always have and always will. I prefer guys that impact winning. You prefer otherwise. You can have that
