The Phillies have a scrappy but annoying lineup. They won't DIE!!! They just keep coming back to life. Hard to put away. I don't like them. They are irritating. Now I really want the Astros to beat them down.

They put the ball in play and are a high payroll team so there's talent there.

Lance can come back on full rest for game 7 with this arrangement.

Short LF at Citizen Bank should feel familiar to Astros’ righties

Man that Peña toss to 2nd uncovered was wild

Next OUT had 3 fielders converged and no collision

    Wow

    Grateful for a tied series

    Let's win 2+ in Brotherly's Love

... that beating up elite pitching is what the Astros have done all season long. They've completely dominated good pitching this year.

Altuve's hits were to every field literally

    Left, center, then right

    He's now 3rd place all-time with 3+ hits in postseason games (9)

    I don’t think we win game 3

I do think we win game 4

and if it plays out like that, we gotta win game 5.

Why would we go with Javier on 3 days rest vs Junior on full rest for game 7? That wouldn't even be a consideration. Javier in relief would be the only option.

We proved tonight we can attack Harper and get him out. So I like that we were able to push him aside.

Ball found the rookie in critical moments tonight. And he redeemed himself.

Alvarez overcorrected for not tagging in the Yankee series, and it was kinda dumb, but it did work out nicely. Alvarez shoed his wheels on the double play ball. But he's been sketchy on the bases.

    ...And Altuve is BACK!

Reminds me of the 1980 Phillies or the 1986 Mets. Neither ended well.

The way I look at is that we will win the Verlander and Valdez starts. That's two. So all we gotta do is win one game against a bunch of Philly wannabe starters. Like our chances.

Not sure what that has to do with dominating good pitching. We didn't lose yesterday because of our inability to beat up on their ace pitcher. This postseason alone, they've beaten up on Cole, Cortes, Severino, and Castillo.
