Watching OSU vs PSU game, a few takeaways... OSU DE JT Tuimoloua is a wrecking machine from the edge. Only a sophomore, but someone to keep an eye on. Incredible playmaker!!! Marvin Harrison Jr, is awesome! Again only a soph, but he carried the offense for 3 quarters. PSU WR Parker Washington is another Soph (from Texas) to keep an eye on. CJ Stroud was just ok I thought. His best throw was in the 4th qtr. A few mental mistakes--taking sack with 6 seconds in half and clock management. Some may see these as nitpicks, but it took a herculean effort by Tuimoloua to blow this game open.
Naw it’s true every time I watch CJ he just doesn’t stand out or doesn’t just seem “special” Now Bryce on the other hand….
Bad game for Levis. Still too raw. Stroud looked mediocre against real competition too. Bryce would be the only guy I’d look at in the first at this point. I still say wait til next year. Maye is the prize
Go defense and draft Maye next year. Another 5 TD game for him. There is no reason he shouldn’t be at the top of the Heisman list other than him being a redshirt freshman
My opinion after watching them and football for 50 years. Chances are I'm wrong and one of them will be really good. If I had to bet I would bet on Young. He's just so small I would pass on drafting him.
He hasn’t yet, but Miami and Notre Dame were ranked coming into the season. There’s 2-3 to end the season. Maye cooked a Notre Dame defense that made Stroud look average.
