He is the whipping boy by design. We need high picks to get out of purgatory. The only way to get them is to lose. We take away in sort of structure by letting a talented kid play out of position. Not just any position the point, leadership of the team. We dumb down the play book to meet his needs then wonder what happened because the rest of the league are professional players. That said, other players start to find success but our coach pairs him with Porter to handicap their success. Remember the goal is a high pick. Some of the fan base have bought this charade. Silas is our best friend and most consistent thing we have. Porter is to narcissistic or ignorant to see he is being played as the fool.

This is just sort of true, but also baloney on KPJ, it is not on KPJ at all, it is on Silas - but you can put ANY player on the roster at that position and we are worse.

First it was Wall, then Wood, now KPJ.

    What is the common denominator?

Porter is multi millionaire because of this treatment. All is well and there has been some entertaining moments for us as fans. The end goal a high pick.

I think it is the opposite, they put KPJ there because they can stay somewhat close due to his and Green's ISO abilities but they won't win much because no one else is really involved....but to the ignorant fanbase it looks like progress when the reality is they aren't really competing honorably.

Also, I don't think Silas knows what he is doing, I have seen no evidence of him being a good head coach.

The goal is to GET BETTER - Silas is literally STUNTING GROWTH......

How do we even know that Green or Jabari are going to be good when we finally decide to compete, if we haven't coached them up? At 19 and 20, they need FUNDAMENTAL coaching and they are not getting that....thus prolonging the rebuild into perpetuity.......if they aren't getting better, we are kicking the can down the road into never ending rebuild Sacremento Kings land.

Lol the kings entire philosophy is to NOT rebuild, and to try to compete as fast as possible. What we are doing is the polar opposite of the kings, even though being the kings is the dream of some fans

Silas is awful. We agree but they aren't going to get better with KPJ. Maybe he finds his niche as a 6th man but he certainly isn't a starting NBA guard.

The coaching staff has gotten a lot better this off season. Silas is still here but most on the staff have found more success than him. Even Garuba has shown flashes great game changer type of talent. Silas’s role is get high picks and keep everyone entertained & happy while we accumulate top tier talent. Think what a true point guard could do for THIS team, hence Porter.

From my angle it does, from yours it doesn't, so take your own advice and do you

the thing you seem to not get is that AI was on that level from G'Town to first 12 years of nba career before it was a wrap, Harden reached that said level, AI was always there, so I will definitely do me and speak my 2 cents on simple sports affairs and speaking who i would draft to start my franchise with, it is what it be, not really a big deal at all

even though you said you would draft the better player that i said to start your squad with, go figure

The issue is that iverson never reached anywhere close to harden level. The gap is so massive that comparing them is just ludicrous. I don’t think you realize (and this common for the “eye test/anti numbers” crowd) just how massive the gap between them is.

Harden reached a level above AI, so AI always being at some level doesn’t even mean anything

yeah, solely based off the weird criteria u made of drafting them straight out of college while not knowing how they’d ultimately end up, I might take AI…but we know how they ended up, with Harden being on an entirely different tier as the much better player based off eye test, stat test, or whatever other test u want to use

if u would start your franchise with the much worse player, then ok

Green is 10-39 over the last two games. But yeah, it’s KPJ.

King1 - how do you know that? You don't.

KPJ is not getting ANY help at all from Silas, no movement, no Pick and pop, not back cuts, no elbow screens nothing, it is roll the ball out and beat your man.

KPJ is getting royally SCREWED by not getting any systemic help......and he won't develop anymore on the passing because where people are is inconsistent game to game....

This is one royal **** job by Silas.

He is getting stunted too.....where is the coaching to help him learn where he can get easy buckets? It is all just attack the rim Jalen.....it is disgusting.

Obviously, it's my opinion but I have seen nothing positive out of KPJ ad a starting PG. Silas is bad, and certainly hasn't showed me anything in terms of talent development, but I do think we have some value in KPJ as a 6th man. That's not an insult. It's figuring out how to get the most out of him.

I 100% agree though Silas has done nothing to develop anyone. Green is not looking great either and offensively Smith is completely lost. This team is making no progress
