We will find out after this series.
Win and we are a dynasty.
Lose and we can’t win a WS without cheating.
Fair or not, that’s what it will be.

    So let’s F’ing win!

We found a way to lose last night, now let’s find a way to win tonight!

Not much is a lot more than Mancini has given us.

Tonight is nearly a must win. It needs to be all hands on deck and Dusty can’t be afraid to get creative. I’d be tempted to put Vazquez at DH. Roll the dice and hope he doesn’t get hurt. It can’t be worse than Mancini.

I really don’t understand why Hensley can’t get a crack at it. ****, bat him 8 and move everyone else up.

    But it’s gonna be Diaz.

Agreed! Hensley would have been great a PH late yesterday

Yeah, it’ll be Diaz, but that’s not at all confidence inspiring either.

Hensley is likely just another out placeholder at this stage but he’s still a better option than Mancini.

On the bright side, its all about perspective. We got our worst pitcher out of the way and still almost won, eventually we were going to lose a game and if there was a game to lose it was this one. This was the most predictable loss out of all of them, win today and the series hits restart with LMJ and Javier...

He should get a shot. Persisting with Mancini/Diaz seems insane.

I could see a pretty easy avenue of winning the series if they lose tonight.

Javier and McCullers are far better than anything they can throw in the next two games. This is a 7 game series. Every game will get harder for the team with lesser pitching. The Astros roster is built for a long series. Must win in game 3 if they can’t beat Wheeler tonight.

I have more faith that Diaz can wake up than Mancini.

Regardless, I think it would make sense to drop DH down.

I’m also concerned that Diaz isn’t 100%. Man, easy to say this now, but I really feel like Hensley would at least give us quality ABs, he’s got a good eye and makes contact, with a bit of pop. Honestly I wish we had done it prior to WS game 2, try it out in SEA or ny. It’s unfortunate that we waited for that.

I also realize I’m yelling at a cloud with this request.

Others have mentioned it, but Tuve and Yordan need to go off. It’s time.

I’m interested to see how Philly piece together games 3/4 from a pitching perspective

Sure, it’s possible but that’s about as back to the wall as you can get.

We need to even it up tonight. Then go on the road and continue to be the best road team in the league.

We have the advantage past their 1-2 but it’s not a given that we just win all those games. Gotta get it done tonight.

Honestly considering the productivity we have gotten from DH are you that concerned about losing the DH that it isn’t worth a shot? I would rather have the best available bat at DH and presently that appears to be Vazquez. To hell with the consequences. There is no tomorrow. Do what it takes to win. You go down with bullets in the chamber that’s on Dusty.

I felt Verlander should’ve been pulled sooner but all this talk of relegating Him to the bullpen or the Astros shouldn’t sign him anymore is not of the panic after a loss. He’s had a phenomenal year and Mikey to win the Cy Young. His record shows he is the ace of this team.

A short leash yes but he’s well earned the spot on this team and going forward to next season.
