That said, they don't deserve a violent attack at their homes. And making light of it sounds nasty and vile.

I took your original point as a matter of principle, and the issue of accountability is yuger than people admit. We are a nation governed by the rule of law. Not by lineage, heavenly mandates or an iron fist. Without that guiding principle, the Constitution is just a piece of paper.

When people at the top evade, twist or corrupt the word and spirit of the law, it flows downward and turns our public bureaucracy and private industry into moralistic race to the bottom.

Shrugging off corrupt attidudes is a lower standard of accountability among the people who are apathetic or disengaged with a system that clearly divides them from their long term goals and interests with empty promises of instant gratification.

Some might even think vigilante justice sorts things out when governments can't, but it's a cheap proxy for a stable functioning society unbent by fear but rather striding towards overcoming it in this or future generations.

 

That’s just my point though Astrodome. You guys know better, but for whatever reason a good portion of Republican voters continue voting and excusing in American society with talking points from FoxNews a clearly extremist movement in the MAGA ideology which is the party platform and these QAnon guys are the ones driving the agenda.

There’s enough people like you though who know better but still keep the MAGA ideology alive with your somewhat closeted or the try to have it both ways support.

FYI a lot of people in my family are QAnon followers and you’d be shocked by how they can compose themselves in a normal social environment to the point where you’d never know and just think they are good Christian people… then you check their Facebook and they are posting about how Pelosi drinks the blood of children and that Obama is really a shapeshifting reptilian.

You really cannot downplay how prevalent the QAnon conspiracy ideology is within your political base. You aren’t going to win any arguments telling me it’s only homeless crackheads who fling their own poo at people.

But I’m sure you’ll just respond by doing the Trump thing where you play dumb and say “I don’t even know what QAnon is, blah blah.” We aren’t stupid. And we are nowhere near each other in terms of ideology since your ideology is content on weaponizing extremism and violent rhetoric to get whatever it is you think you are getting from the MAGA movement.

A good majority of Democrats want the Feinstein and Pelosi types to pass the torch and retire. They are the product of gerrymandering where their districts are untouchable and because they are untouchable they tend to take more liberties to do things like insider trading etc.

However… tell me again which party wants to do away with gerrymandering and which party works overtime to make sure the courts have judges who will always rule to overturn legislation and lawsuits that fight against partisan gerrymandering?

Is she an evil child trafficking shapeshifting demon though???… no. She’s a career politician who has had a super long career because she’s in an untouchable district and because she’s really good at getting legislation done by what she does behind the scenes to get a very fractured coalition on the same page. Even Mitch McConnell couldn’t do what she does. That’s why she still holds the gavel in the House.

It takes a horrible person to post jokes about a vicious attack. I looked this guy up and he had worse posts. The sick part is that he has a ton of responses of people all joking and laughing about the attack. What's wrong with people? What if that had been their husband, dad or grandfather? There is never a time when a decent human being should enjoy seeing pain inflicted on another. To joke about it or post memes laughing about it takes a really pathetic human being. Political preference should never get to a point that you think violence upon the other side is funny.
