I think Meyers was left off the roster again. I would much prefer him over our current options though.

Phillies have their best pitcher in Wheeler lined up tomorrow. Their true ace. It will probably be a low-scoring affair if Framber can also hold his own.

Astros lost World Series when they didn’t cheat, won when they did. Math adds up.

I like Dusty, but that's an odd thing to say. I mean ultimately HE makes the matchup sheet (along with recommendations from his coaches). What exactly made you believe he should be there in that situation over Stanek?

You forgot about David Hensley.? That man saved our asses in game 1 against the Mariners and hasn't been looked at since. Another mistake by Dusty.

What kills me is that Dusty should go with Urquidy in Game 5, but he won't because he'll feel loyalty towards Verlander and the front office won't want to piss him off with free agency looming.

Yes? A 7 game series is always competitive.

Time to put Yordan back to DH. I think playing LF every game is affecting his hitting. Put Hensley in LF for game 2.

Yup...it went Meyer, then Martinez, and now Smith got the spot for the WS.

6 game series. Astros couldn't force a game 7 because they went scoreless in game 6 at home.

I am just so pissed at how our hitters choked once philly made it a game in the 4th. It was so ****ing predictable that our hitters would panic and tighten up and not score another run.

Alvarez striking out for the 1st out in our last at bat was also crippling. I knew when Bregman hit that double, he would be stranded. Tucker was too amped and flailed out and then it’s up to Gurriel and Diaz. The moment was too big for Diaz even though, after the wild pitch, a single would’ve won the game. Weak grounder bullshit game over. Super choke by Verlander and the offense. Tucker was awesome until that last at bat and gurriel was good. Huge choke and we gave the momentum to philly and put the pressure squarely on us. Our hitters don’t hit under that kind of pressure. So thats why I fear we will lose in quick fashion. Our hitters just can’t get it done and it’s all mental. What a shame.

Baker and Roberts are the worst managers and they keep hanging on to their jobs. Don’t get it.

It was always going to be tough going against the hot NL east wild card winner. Plus we're essentially playing 5.5 vs 9 on offense (Maldonado gets a .5 in his favor).

I know why Dusty did it - leaving JV in the game in the 5th when the tying run reached - trying to get JV his first WS win, BUT the right call was to get Abreu in to face Realmuto. JV would have been pissed getting pulled before finishing the 5th, but it’s the right call when trying to win a WS.

yeah, I won’t watch tv for the rest of the series unless Astros lead by 2 games. It’s hard to watch baseball.

Being a comfortable division winner doesn’t play in October.

Dodgers and Astros struggles in the WS show this.

Much better to be the team playing for their lives in late September.
