    Here’s the thing…. It doesn’t hurt. Verlander for several post seasons has proven to be an absolute fraud when it matters. I hope to god he doesn’t get a contract from Houston if it means losing players in the future.

    I don't understand why Dusty didn't trust what his eyes were seeing when JV clearly was getting shelled and didn't have it. Blind hope the Phillies batters were just getting miss? Old-school managing has made him winless in World Series so far.
