    Nah. The Phillies really can't afford to pull Nola/Wheeler before the 5th with their bullpen. He was going to have to fight through no matter what.

    No one will ever be able to explain after he's long been retired why he was 15-5 with an ERA hovering around 3 before the World Series and couldn't garner a single World Series victory and had an era approaching 7.

    How do you just turn on a dime and start choking like that?

    That's beyond baffling.

    I mean all of that Dusty not having the Bullpen warming up to start the inning. How do you not have them prepping just in case.

    Also the announcer noticed the mechanics in the 4th inning, why aren't the Astros able to figure that and let Dusty or JV know before he goes back out there in the 5th.

    Which is smart. Basically means you can't change approach and just be super aggressive pitching to them when you have a lead. I don't think that is what JV was doing. but the rest of the staff should be aware.
