Why do you call everyone who disagrees with you unhinged, a Karen, an idiot, or some radical leftist?
Your opinion can be up for debate without you stooping to nastiness. You may not be a Trumper, but that is exactly how he acts.

    stochastic terrorism
    1. (Neologism) The use of mass public communication, usually against a particular individual or group, which incites or inspires acts of terrorism which are statistically probable but happen seemingly at random.

Stochastic Terrorism: Why This Is A Worrying Trend And Who Bears Responsibility To Curb This Phenomenon

    Stochastic Terrorism

This brings me to the issue of stochastic terrorism, which is being increasingly observed around the world. Stochastic terrorism is defined as “the use of mass media to provoke random acts of ideologically motivated violence that are statistically predictable but individually unpredictable.”

Continued uncertainty in society is a destabilizing force which gives extremist narratives more traction. The uncertainty being experienced is contributing to distrust, lack of faith in formal politics and parallel facts or interpretations of social events. In such circumstances, when politicians and the media contribute to the normalization of hatred and hostile acts, the threat of violence multiplies.

    Conclusion

Politicians have a specific responsibility in countering the normalization of violence and hatred. Widespread attempts to normalize the events of January 6 by many US politicians, including writing it off as “normal tourist visit”, is worrisome. The perpetuation of such falsehoods contributes to the idea that violence is an acceptable part of the political process. Europe is not seeing the likes of Trump and his supporters but there are politicians normalizing hate over issues of migration and public health measures, in particular. This produces a ripe environment for inciting violence.

Forcing a toddler to wear a mask all day is child abuse.

    QAnon?

    You really are unhinged.

CNN reported that DePape’s Facebook account, which has been taken down by the social media company, contained memes and conspiracy theories about COVID-19 vaccines, the 2020 election and the Jan. 6 attack.

A blog written under the name of DePape — with the domain ‘godisloving.wordpress.com’ and banner that reads “Welcome to Big Brothers Censorship Hell” — includes articles titled ‘pedophile normalization,’ ‘facts are racist,’ and ‘Hitler did nothing wrong.’ His posts contain right-wing conspiracy theories and racists messages and repeatedly rail against government officials, the media and tech companies for alleged censorship. The blog, which was created in 2007, was largely inactive until this summer, when he made dozens of posts in the span of just four days in August.

Another website with entries written by a person who identifies as David DePape similarly contains antisemitic and bigoted blog posts, including denial of the Holocaust.

Sure sounds like a MAGA citizen.

That it seems they normally have security there, so apparently Paul was unlucky that the crazy guy managed to get in when security wasn't there. The question was brought up a few times in the thread why they wouldn't have security.

No it’s not. Where’s CPS if it is?

Yes QAnon, you check all the boxes. Everything is “evil” to your ilk.

I think more security is there when Nancy is home.
    Still he’s a multimillionaire himself
If not political reasons which their home was targeted before
Just general par for the course for that neighborhood

Yes I saw in the news that the security detail follows Nancy Pelosi as House leadership so there is less when she isn’t there.

Nobody should have to have security to be safe in their home. There was a time when people felt safe leaving their doors unlocked. Unfortunately, this country has millions of violent people with guns now, a lot more mentally ill, and a lot more radicals. In fact, this country is becoming more radicalized by the day. Right wing propaganda, lies, hate, and Q conspiracies being fed to guys like this by politicians on social media and at rallies is extremely dangerous. It just incites the people crazy enough to believe them. This guy might not have had a gun, but most right wingers sport them proudly. This guy is only one of millions who believed all those lies and conspiracy theories. That's the scary part.
