Pressly was also hurt and not fully back (though pitching) in 2019 too. He was nails in the first half (made the all star team), but wasn't the same after his knee surgery, unfortunately.

Probably the most rested he's been before a WS, for sure since he's been here. In '17, he pitched 4 times before the World Series (2x in the ALDS (once in relief on 3 days rest), and 2x in the ALCS). In '19, he also pitched 4 times (2x in the ALDS (once on 3 days rest), and 2x in the ALCS). Only 2 starts so far, I'm hoping we get ALCS JV this Series!! LFG

Until the thread is posted, There are at least 4 threads about the 2022 season or roster besides the Yankees Thread which acts as a bridge between series. Sometimes he posts early and sometimes he posts late. But if he doesn't post by the start of the first game, a search party heads out to make sure he's OK.
It would have to be a sweep for Verlander to only pitch once. Verlander would pitch in a game 5 on normal rest.
