You think this is why we are guard oriented ? Really ? We were going to be a guard oriented offense from the jump. He's option #1...PERIOD..and should be. He's not even the 2nd or 3rd option and yet he plays defense like a madman...the best on the team. But we'll see how things shake out. There is not another player picked behind Bari that anyone's talking about BTW.
Yeah................ what if i told you maybe just maybe that you will see more of that next year when they are actually TRYING TO WIN.
I won't believe you. He has had 3 years, he can implement pieces of it now to help them develop.....I don't for one second believe Silas is going to suddenly gain accountability.... DD
Well you better hope they beat the Blazers. After that a back to back with the Suns and Clippers. A day off and the Clippers again. ps all roads games too except game 2 against Clips
I knew Boran wasn't on the Rockets to contribute much on the court. Still, if he's playing just two minutes with Fernando and Sengun out, he's just taking up a roster spot.
I must of missed where the Magic are 5-0? Tilman said the Rockets were looking for another top pick this year … before 1st home game … Silas job is to develop players and help find the hidden gems in some of Stones signings. Y’all say Silas is soft , weak but look at how hes handling JC
But in actuality that player will then have a superstar 'role' , roles are provided by all rotational and end of the bench players including the coaching staff, some roles bear a heavier burden than other roles but they all must be one collective and do their roles to best of capability Those 90's Rockets n Bulls teams are perfect examples of those playing their roles at apex level
Fundamentals. Lol. Mrs Eason musn't be aware of who coach Silas is. Dude's never heard of fundamentals. Houston fans still screaming for him to practice them, still to this day with no avail.
I especially liked the KPJ 'suck all game but then put up numbers when it's a blowout and the game is already lost' to fool those people on clutchfans into thinking he actually had a good game.
If you watched the game you would note that we got within two with KPJ iso heroball. wasn't a blowout and if it wasn't for his 4th quarter heroics i would consider him having an awful game. 5 assist to 5 turnovers isn't good.
Stat padding same as Westbrook when playing for OKC. He could do triple double every single game but OKC was still a loser franchise at the end of the day.
Offence starts from PG and if you got no PG so it's kinda normal to see ISO ISO ISO. At least, our Baby Jokic can save our day but anyways let's keep him in the bench.
I wouldn't expect any positive development as long as Silas stays on the bench and KPJ is PG of this team.
Wow at the negativity here. I mean it was an ugly game, sloppy, but we fought! That's all you can ask, could've beaten them if we made a few less mistakes and then it still would've been a terrible game by us. So that's a good sign. Silas acknowledged too much iso so that's a positive too. Mathews showing his stroke again was nice to see, Tate with the hustle, KPJ with the poise, Green with relentless attacking of the rim etc. Definitely some positive signs.
