Early Voting TX OCT 24 - NOV 4 : Don't wait until election day& risk your vote being disallowed

This is only required because of how many things Texans vote on. In normal states the ballots are much shorter so its not difficult to just have paper copies of all the possible ballots within a county and just hand out the correct ballot based on your precinct.

Electronic voting became a necessity in Texas because the ballot size is out of control so it creates way too many different ballot combinations to manage solely with paper. Personally, they just need to reduce the size of the ballot. That alone would dramatically lower waits at polling locations.

There is a ton. 7 statewide seats, district offices, board of education seats, and judicial seats. I wish I can make my selection offsite and just scan it in at the polling station (and of course, visually confirm it's correct).

 

Anyone know if they still do late night or drive thru voting? Specifically looking for late night, as that was great last time, but I think I remember them canceling it this time. Just making sure.

24-hour and drive-thru voting has been banned in TX (by TX Republicans). Standard hours are now 7a-7p (except for 11/3 where some places open to 10p).

 

We can vote 24/7 in Colorado. Will vote tomorrow morning at 3 am because I can. Thats freedom.
