Marvel's Loki is based on a fictional character that ****ed a horse. It predates the MCU. And the comics. It's not some new illuminati initiative to brainwash and steer people into homosexuality. Loki wanting to **** himself is funny and perfect though. I bet Ronaldo would love to **** himself.
Posts in thread like this make me feel validated in a weird way that comics were worth reading as a kid.
Where in the comics did the broken mask/helmet originate? I honestly have no idea, but if it started in movies, then the new poster seems like it steals directly from the 3rd Nolan Batman / Bane beatdown of Bruised Wang. EDIT: Anyway, for more reading on the villain, I went down this Marvel rabbit hole and learned you can even check out digital versions of old comics for a (small) price.
Of everything I saw at D23 - this movie looked to be the most impressive to me personally. It has jokes (Paul Rudd, c'mon) but the tone is clearly more serious than some of the other recent MCU stuff. Black Panther also (obviously).
I'd be up for another comic-horror if somehow antman started turning into a real ant-man just to mix things up. I watched some of it on Hulu and thought MODOK was half entertaining with low expectations. Don't remember if I watched the latter half...
