He's more than that though. He'll always be more than that. Not to mention he's too small to be a 3 and D guy. Im not giving up on him, Im higher on him than most here. I just dont like half waying it with him.
he CAN do other stuff, but so far he's been bad at it. I don't think he can be a 3 and d wing with his size so maybe he can be a 3rd guard? i don't really know at this point
This is 100% incorrect. I played PG my entire life, and i got good, really good at it in my 20s......because the game slowed down and I could see things before they happened.......the more you play the easier it should get. Practice practice, practice and game time DD
How? How has he been bad at it? Literally been better than everyone on our team at it. Look we are three games into the season. We are gonna be bad regardless, yall have to let things play out.
I still genuinely think he's a starter level talent. Whether that's as a PG or a wing is actually the only thing in question for me.
who cares where he is relative to the rest of our team? It matters if he can be a high end starter at some point, or at least a good starter.
look at the great passers, like harden, lebron, magic, any of them. That vision is something you're born with or you're not. Doesn't mean you can't be a good player, but it's going to be hard to be a good PG.
i agree, i'm fine with kpj being the starting PG all season. I'd like to see less gordon (i'd even just waive him if nobody will trade for him), and just play the kids
And we have KMJ, who's also best suited as a 3, in my opinion. As Tari gets enough games/experience under his belt, assuming KMJ is still with the team (and I hope he is), Martin Jr. would be a good backup for Eason, in my opinion. Like you, last season I saw KPJ's best role as a 3. Then, as now, I just don't see him as a good fit at the one. KPJ's best fit would be as a 6th man, playing with a good creator, in my opinion, so I agree with those who see him in that role.
The Crazy Irony is that Stephen Silas was with the Warriors as a Assistant and had Monte Ellis and Rookie Stephen Curry. Monte Ellis taking all the Shots and Stephen Curry being the 2nd Option. At some point they needed to trade Monte Ellis and they traded him for Andrew Bogut, a unpopular move for fans but it paid off. Great move by the Owner and GM Bob Myers Stephen Curry was free to run the team, no tension and became a Superstar. And it is happening again with Stephen Silas as Head Coach with Kevin Porter Jr as a Iso Player while everyone watches and Jalen Green is a Spot Up Shooter and Alperen Sengun is watching from the bench when KPJ is throwing Turnover alley oop pass to Bruno Fernando.
Harden was not a great passer - he was a good one, got better in Houston. You obviously didn't play the game, or you wouldn't be saying that. DD
you played in the nba? that's actually kinda cool, i didn't know that. If harden in your mind wasn't a great passer, you have much higher standards then i do
