It appears the chance of rain decreases as it gets later in the evening. Might want to move the game to 8 pm. Lol
I heard from a buddy up there that you can get to the game for $20… don’t think it matters if they move the game, ppl aren’t going to it anyways.
Unfortunately not the case. The latest hourly forecast for Yankee Stadium’s zip code shows rain through at least 1 am. https://forecast.weather.gov/MapCli...-73.9272&unit=0&lg=english&FcstType=graphical
A couple of thoughts. In the big scheme of things it would be easier for ticket holders if a game was moved up two hours then having to deal with a work day Monday to get to the game. 2nd thought. If they moved it up 2 hours or if they play tomorrow. Ny Bytch arse Yankee fans will use it as one of this year's excuses to go with the litney of others.
I'm sure the no refund policy with rain likely to cancel the game has nothing to do with it. In other news, people prefer to flush $20 down the toilet than a few $100 bills.
Statcast adjusts well by shrinking or growing the batter. Background shows the top and bottom of the zone are adjusted for every batter.
Too bad they didn't go with this retractable roof design. They might not play a game today or tomorrow. Should just move the series back to Houston. We can call it a Yankee home game. Give their fans refunds and they will be happy.
By that forecast, we are talking about drizzle, very light rain. .2” of rain between 5pm and 2am is hardly a reason to postpone the game if that forecast verifies.
