On this same note, if an athlete does or says something lame, we will point it out. A poster is on limits for comment, but not an athlete?
The OP didnt say "Cole should care what we think". He pointed out individual behavior.

First, Cole was specifically asked about Framber's mound presence when presented with Framber's quote about how he may have fallen apart in 2019 if he committed similar errors. Cole also said it with a bit of a grin on his face.

Second, it's kind of a crappy question to ask a member of the losing team.

Third, he went on to say that "the numbers speak for themselves" and Framber trusted his team and his pitches.

Fourth, he said he hadn't seen Framber as much as you guys (I'm assuming the question came from a Houston reporter).

So... in other words, so what.

He just might be with his sad ass. Money doesnt but happiness, it can only assist. he'd rather be in Htown earning that money than NY imo judging off his vibe. could be one of those things a decade after he retires where he says he wish he would have stayed. Wouldnt be the first time that has happened in sports...

Who is the last top-tier free agent who either took less money to go somewhere they preferred, or later said he regretted taking the money? Are they all just too stupid to know what's best for them? Or is it possible they have different preferences than fans? That doesn't even include the fact that his childhood dream was to play for the Yankees.

wow no one was calling anyone stupid. only he knows how he truly feels. I don't, and you certainly don't, and neither do any of the posters here. all folks are going off of is his body language anyway

besides did you even actually read what I said before responding like that? if Houston paid him the same money as NYY, he'd rather be here...

Payback MF'er for right after a loss sporting a Boras hat. It was a joy watching our rivals overpay on a long term deal for spider tack elite play.

Good luck trying to inspire your team.

Harden this year? Pretty sure Wiggins could have got 50 million more if he went to free agency. Maybe I’m misinterpreting your comment. Tom Brady definitely took less on purpose. Not sure if anyone has ever admitted they regretted a free agency decision that I can recall but plenty have had different incentives to sign than just largest offer.

How do you know that with the same contract that Cole would rather be in Houston?

Cole was a Yankee fan as a kid and dreamed of pitching for the Yankees.

Lol! like people have never dreamed of becoming something but once they get there, they realize it isnt what they thought/grass isnt always greener. In my post you quoted I already said I don't know, so not sure why you're asking again
