This is really a huge problem. Jr is throwing the rythym off of the posession. He has to be a bit more deliberate and patient to setup team- mates. Then he can get into his bag and the game will start lining up for him. His IQ needs improvement in this area.

I'm not worried about the offence, we get enough good looks. It is the other end where we get threes rained on us.

I like the line up we have. Gives us a far better chance if we are fully healthy. Just need to put it all together for a whole game.

Average dribble per touch. Porter Jnr 4.5, Green 4.2. The leader in the NBA is at 6.1 Trae Young

The dribbling stats are not that far apart between Porter Jnr and Green

Let's make it clear that KPJ isn't a bad player and he can be a good asset with the team. The problem is that the KPJ as a PG experience is not working, and our offense is plain unwatchable due to his overdribbling. KPJ is proven a very good catch and shoot player and also play some solid defense; therefore, he would be best to serve as our 3 and D guy. With him and Jabari sitting at the corners, it'll open up the lane for Green to drive or cutters to get a follow up or Sengun to post up or kick out. If KPJ cannot give up the ball 3 seconds after he brought the ball up to the front court, he should be benched and we need to find a pass first PG, either pickup one from the market or develop Ty Ty into that role. We don't need Silas to run his genius offense, we just need him to run basic basketball play, inside-out, pick and roll, but we can't even run those right after obtaining the worst records for two consecutive years.

I think the frustration is that you can clearly see we are better than last year and that means we will be in more games. Close losses are going to frustrate the heck out of us the next 1-2 years as we build towards that goal of Playoffs again. Just stick with the team and back them in i reckon.

All I know is.... the Jazz are still doing it wrong with 2 wins and we're still doing it right with 3 loses. Eventually we'll get that #1

"Coaches don't matter" except Dantoni made Nash/Harden and even Jeremy freaking Lin look All World. How were the Warriors before Kerr?

Tillman thinks he's building the basketball Astros. Whens the last time we heard from Crane? You don't. He hires the right people and keeps his nose out of the public eye. I have a hard time believing Tillman has the balls to hire a coach worth a damn.

In Silas's offense there is just so much wasted movement and unnecessary dribbling. Everyone's burning so much energy trying to go one-on-one to create for themselves or someone else, BUT, there are more efficient ways to get people open with less energy used.

This doesn't mean they need to scrap ISO, but let's work in some off-the-ball screens to free players up. It seems like it's same as when Harden was here, everyone going to there spot without much motion, just standing around watching someone dribble.

The only good Coach we had when Harden was here was MD. MD allowed the Harden iso because he was a great creator but he also made it so that it was efficient.

The team is still missing a legitimate veteran All Star caliber player to close things out in style IMO.

May that be the Center position, may that be the PG position or the PF position.

Spacing and passing isn't enough for an offense, IMO, to be successful - important elements but not a complete formula for success. I mean, if you're doing that you could just end up playing hot potato with the ball around the top of the key and then forcing up a shot. There needs to be intentional, planned out movements and, IMO, off-the-ball screens to free people up.

Now of course this (off-the-ball screens) isn't an end-all-be-all either. If we have a great low-post player, we could play through him and he could kick it out when he's doubled. Or, we could do some planned ISOing too, but Silas's offense has just too much of it and I think it is just unorganized and inefficient. Let's mix some other ideas for offense - variety.

Drive and kick is just too easy to defend and puts too much pressure on our players to go one-on-one all of the time. It's, IMO, also boring to watch. What's inspiring is team-play and fluid, planned movements to either create scoring or make ISOing easier.

I'm telling you guys with Green's speed, the high screen 2-3 ft behind the 3 pt line by an effective screener like Sengun will open up Green's game to another level. It will get him that space to get to his final gear of speed heading to the rim in a half court offense. It also allows opportunities for Green to split defenses because teams are probably going to try to also trap at those high screens. He has shown that ability to slither and split potential traps from a screen. And when you split a double off a screen that high near the backcourt, that just gives so much ample space for down hill action. Basically like a guard breaking free from a full court press and basically creating an easy fast break opportunity.

They are going to make rudimentary changes if there is a lengthy losing streak and it looks like that unfortunately.

You can be sure of that.

Tough to judge much of anything when most of the team is struggling making wide open shots.
