we were 1-16 last year to start the season.................if we can beat that then it will be an improvement. 3 or 4 wins would be nice in our first 17 games

It's not just that. His play style lessens the ability for other players who frankly are more important to the future of the team to work on their game because of his ball dominating nature.

lol takes longer than just one season. Are you expecting him to be a finished product already?

Are we planning on KPJ to be our Luka? If that is what we are trying to develop him as then I get it letting him dominate the ball like this but then I guess our 2nd and 3rd overall picks are lower on the priority list for development.

There wasn’t any realistic way the rockets were going to win tonight.

    Garuba looked solid.
Jabari bounced back by hitting the boards.
I’m not sure Nix is an NBA point guard.
Matthews isn’t in the rotation when Tate gets back.

Wasn't it mostly because Silas had no idea to play two big men together and still doing it?

He didn’t make any progress on playmaking in one season! I didn’t say he is finished product already.

Yes Green, Sengun and Bari should have higher priorities in development.

Green is a scorer that’s his job. Let him chuck up shots. If they go in great .. if not then he didn’t die wondering

There is only one Luka and Porter Jnr's usage rate today was only 23 percent....Green was at 29 percent, so Green had more of the ball. In fact the usage rate was pretty much shared around today. Smith's usage rate was 20.8, Porter Jnr's was only 23 percent.

It is irrelevant what number a guy gets drafted anyway, especially once you start playing. Smith had his chances to shine today.

Jalen Green needs to demand the ball to keep aggressiveness.

    Only 4pts in 2nd half.

Usage rate does not calculate how long a player has the ball in their hands.

KPJ is dominating possessions with the ball while teammates watch.

lol ah no. They are all in it together, they are a team and developing together. they are all around the same age, so they should develop together.

No, Porter has the development priority by dribbling the air out of the ball every other possession he's in the game.

That's the thing about Green. He doesn't hold on to the ball any where near as long dribbling it out as KPJ. Green when he has the ball will use the initial pick and do his immediate action if he sees space and if not he passes off.
