Boring loss

 

growing pains have that. 7 assists tonight, probably could have been 10 if his team mates hit a few more shots. Just got to be patient

 

Utah next…they’ve played better than expected, but at least they’re a more manageable team than Memphis and Milwaukee

Rockets have a chance to get their 1st win

 

It’s frustrating. We’re likely stuck with them for years.

Have been saying our guards is the problem, especially KPJ. KPJ would be great for a 3 and D guy sitting at the corner but he's not PG material. You need a true PG.

 

I really couldn't care about assists. A competent pg who dribbles the air out of the ball as much as he does which would be someone like Luka would have a lot more assists with those opportunities. He misses wide open corner shooters. He take 20 seconds off the shot clock. Silas in training camp was talking about a quick offense but it's mainly KPJ dribbling the air out of the ball.

The Rockets are playing KPJ like he's Luka when he isn't.

This is true but he was put one on one with GA with no help defense. Announcers pointed this out. NO ONE has been effective against GA...Garuba was a little better but GA stilled wrapped him up and put him in the popcorn machine when he wanted. Bari has had 3 whole games and can't match up with Ga...imagine that. There's some seriously high expectations I guess.

I said it a couple of weeks ago, but I actually really like that the Rockets' early season schedule is so brutal. This is a wakeup call and an early test, and it proves how young and inexperienced they are. I said they had a decent shot to win 30+ games this year, and I believe that, but any delusions of "we're making the play-in!" should be out the window at this point.

The fact that they're competing against good teams has been nice to see. The wins will come later. But anyone overreacting or who thinks the sky is falling has set their expectations for this team way too high.

Tari Eason could help an NBA team win games anytime between now and the next 15 years of his career. There's already a poise to him that belies his level of experience.

That is the extent of my positive comments about tonight's game.

 

Honestly I hope Jazz beat us to get Silas fired. Even we may not be able to get Snyder, I will feel so much better even with Vogel than Silas.

 

Pretty good game from Jabari minus the shooting once again. 2 blocks and a double double

Maybe. It’s clear they wanted 3 high draft picks. This is the last year. Management is setting this up like this with Wall’s contract off Green and Sengun 3rd perhaps a free agent.

You and others can be upset all you want. Blame the coach if it makes you feel better. If anything though you should perhaps direct it more at the GM and his obvious plan that is one year from completion.

 

Who is next player that is gonna drop 40+ pts against Rockets?

 

This is a game the Rockets are supposed to lose by 20. Not sure why anyone would be upset.
