    Particular stat line I would like to point out.

    Typically a team would like to keep their strikeouts down to where their strikeouts to earned runs produced is about 2:1 and hopefully a little less. That's a solid number in today's game.

    So for instance the Astros in this series have produced 10 earned runs and struck out only 19 times. Right about where you would like to be.

    The Yankees in this series have a never before seen 21 to 1 ratio.

    42 strikeouts
    2 earned runs produced

    True story.

    I was telling my best friend (huge Astros fan) about Pena and Chaz taking over and us not a skipping a beat and I didn't think of Cole being replaced but yeah that's a good one. I'd probably choose Valdez because he's been a starter the entire time since Cole left and has been magnificent.

    I'll see you that one and raise you this:

    The Yankees hitters have produced exactly 0 earned runs by anything other than a HR in this entire series.

    They cannot string together hits to save their lives.

    If you’ve paid attn to the Yankees (not saying you haven’t) this has been their MO for a while now. It’s NY, long balls get eyes, media and tix but is not sustainable against tough/playoff pitching. No surprises thus far
