Eason reminds me a lot of Jimmy Butler when he was in Chicago trying to work his way into his potential. He has a much better frame than Butler though

I know it's super early, but I feel Tari has made Tate expendable. I'd be okay with shopping him this deadline if there are buyers willing to pay good value.

In what world was Tate not expendable in the first place?

I wanted the Rockets to get a 7' center, so I would've drafted Walker Kessler after Mark Williams and Jalen Duren were off the board. I'm happy Tari Eason has been playing well though.

We need a 7 footer with a long wingspan at the 5 so bad. That has to be what we go after next off season. I would love a Myles Turner

Silas will find a way to keep reducing Tari's minutes

Imagine getting 15 minutes with no Tate available ??

Silas stays playing Garry Bird and others instead.

    Embrace the tank.

If Silas doesn't have a bad rotation, this team might win too many games.

I like Eason more for a longtime gamer than a broken record out of the league too soon.

I know he cant keep up that 3pt% - but right now I don‘t see how you can‘t play him more. He is a plus on defense, he hits his open threes and he has the ability to drive to the basket. Yes he will make boneheaded plays and yes he will turn the ball over. But I would be much in favor of prioritizing also his development over winning right now. He looks like a keeper.

I don't think the rockets have a lot of vocal guys and it sounded like Tate emerged as somewhat of a vocal leader last year. I think that's why they made an effort to find a deal that worked to keep him.

Tari looks like the upgraded version of Tate in virtually every way including being vocal so I could see that making the rockets comfortable with moving him.

Unfortunately, I don't know that the trade market is great for 6'4 PF's. We'd probably have to wait till next year to move him as an expiring if he can't stay in the rotation.

There is a guy that will be available to only select teams. We seem to be on a sure path to be in the mix. The only way to botch this up would be to fire our coach...

he needs to start. he has dennis rodman-like tendencies with touching the ball anywhere and everywhere.

im drinking the kool-aid but he might be the 3rd best player on the team right now.

    Already my favourite Rocket.

Cannot wait for when he's in the starting line up.

I guess that'll be another year or two - when coach Silas is gone.

Because we all know that clown doesn't have the backbone to play youngsters the minutes they have thoroughly deserved.
