Lol his commentary on society is not restrained to the borders of the US.

You seem to really not like this guy so that means you know his general premise. So what is the main idea he espouses about heroism and black and white morality that links to a specific ideology

Hmmm isn't Dilbert the only work he is famous for? I would say Watchman, V for Vendetta, League of extraordinary gentlemen are more popular.

When the creator of Dillbert comes down on you, you know you're messed up. Nobody wants to face Dillbert's wrath.

"Dilbert Guy" is just a reductionist, mediocre, pod person who wishes he had half of Gary Larson's or Bill Watterson's talent.

    WOKE CULTURE
Dilbert creator says 77 newspapers canceled comic strip as it tackles woke culture
by Julia Johnson, Trending News Editor
    September 21, 2022 01:11 PM

The creator of Dilbert, Scott Adams, announced Tuesday that his comic has been canceled by nearly 77 newspapers, which he says are owned by one media company.

Dilbert follows the titular character as he navigates American office culture. Recently, as "woke" culture has permeated workplaces, it has been addressed in Adams's comics.

"All of the wokeness and anything that permeated from ESG [environmental, social, and governance] … so that stuff made its way into the business world, and then, it became proper content for Dilbert," he told Fox News.

Coincidentally, Adams announced on Twitter that his comic is being stripped from 77 newspapers, which is coming as a "substantial" financial blow to the creator.

"It was part of a larger overhaul, I believe, of comics, but why they decided what was in and what was out, that's not known to anybody except them, I guess," he said of the cancellation.

Adams began creating the comics in 1989, and they now appear in "over 2,000 newspapers, in 57 countries, and in 19 languages."

A new character introduced by Adams is Dave, named after his brother. Dave is a prankster who likes to mess with his boss. For example, Dave is black, but he identifies as white.

Some recent comics follow the boss as he attempts to raise the company's ESG rating. "Dave, I need to boost our company's ESG rating, so I'm promoting you to be our CTO. I know you identify as white, so that won't help our ESG scores, but would it be too much trouble to identify as gay?" the boss asks in one comic.

"Depends how hard you want me to sell it," responds Dave.

"Just wear better shirts," his boss says.

In another comic, the company's boss worries that its ESG score will drop if it adds more carbon dioxide to the atmosphere; however, he finds a workaround. "But we can balance that out by adding more diversity to our board," he explains.

"How much CO2 do you plan to add?" he's asked.

"One nonbinary board member's worth," the boss responds.

What? Dillbert was the target of a political agenda?

Let's examine that. Was Dillbert making threatening political messages?

Was some sort of liberal power house threatened by the underbelly movement Dillbert was representing?

Calling the GOP fascists doesn't accomplish anything. Yes they want to fix elections in their favor and ensure white people and rich people remain in power, but the people in the middle are never going to buy into it.

Instead, it's better to say the Dems have an agenda around issues, and the GOP's agenda is to oppose whatever Dems want to do at whatever costs no matter what the agenda is.

If Dems wanted to cut taxes, the GOP would have to find a way to call that socialism and attack it.

The dude isn't a political actor. He is a writer. He deconstructs concepts like the concept of the ubermensch hero and fascism. This has nothing to do with election speak.

I'm tired of pretending discussions on a basketball message board is going to influence political tactics. We can call the GOP fascist like as much as we want. Now I wouldn't advice Biden going all in on that because I understand that's a losing proposition. Conservative Americans in general don't have that introspective ability and will be offended.

How is lax immigration enforcement on top of granting benefits and privileges normally only extended to actual US citizens anything BUT attempting to fix elections? That crap goes on day in and day out, year in and year out... and I believe it all attaches back to the Democrats.

All some want to seem to do is overstate a supposed coup whose weapons cache were in the back of a van parked a mile and a half away. Who has ever taken over a government with baseball bats and chemical sprays? Yes, it was a protest gone wild, but mild in comparison to the hundreds of George Floyd riots from the summer of 2020-- over 500 I believe and a huge multiplier in terms of deaths, injuries, and property damage

Here are some facts based on actual evidence.

    • Trump and his team met prior to Jan 6th.
    • They brought up and wanted to seize voting machines
    • Trump supporters tampered with voting machines
    • Trump planned to put in a new AG who would back knowingly false claims and methods to prevent the lawful certification of the election
    • Planned to offer up false electors
    • Planned to delay certification long enough to have congress vote on the president (not by members of congress but by state which is the only way Trump would win)
    • Planned to delay the certification
    • Marchers had firearms on them
    • They scouted out best places to breach the capitol and stationed themselves ahead of time.
    • Trump urged knowingly armed marchers to the capitol and wanted to be there to lead them
    • The certification was in fact delayed and did not happen Jan. 6th.
None of those items were overstated. They are based on evidence presented under oath with supporting documents and corroboration.

HBO's Watchman adaptation was BETTER than the original comic and he KNOWS it. That's why he hates it. 11 Emmys.

Those are pretty uneven accusations. Much of that was just considered but not acted upon.

Keep in mind, even though you don't agree, Trump thought the election had been stolen from him. On the surface, that is plausible. Biden's campaign was pathetic yet somehow he garnered the most votes in history.

From the moment the polls closed, the storyline of the fairest election of all-time was on the loose! I don't necessarily think there was voter fraud, but that could not really be figured out in a few weeks.

My own stance is that there was a long-play to steal the election from Trump when the Dems initiated contesting the certification in 2017. Nancy Pelosi was talking about impeaching Trump before his first day in office based on what... .a falsified dossier funded by the Clintons describing alleged Russian collusion which was used to illegally garner FISA warrants to spy on Trump and colleagues.

A few loonies had guns but that falls short of a second American Revolution.

There is a process to object to the EC certification. Democratic congressional persons have tried it three times since 2001 according to CNN.

There is a process to have Congress decide a presidential election.

JAN 6 was a pathetic action but that doesn't justify making it out to be anything more than that. It was no real threat.

Do you think the Jazz fans complained about the illegal screens Karl Malone set for John Stockton? No, but Rockets fans sure did!
