Anybody watched Blade of the Immortal?

It looks interesting is it worth the investment?

It’s okay, I watched like a third of it and I’m struggling to stay interested.

What is making it hard to stay interested?

    Not much action?

I watched that a couple of years ago, and it is honestly one of the better Amine movies I have ever seen, especially visually.

I was surprised that I have not seen a lot more like that.

The women were let's say very healthy and active.:D

It seems that this would be good for a live action version, the backstory could be pretty amazing.

I really liked the Gantz manga. It's a cool concept, sort of Squid Game meets The Matrix.

With a little Resident Evil thrown in.

That's why I think it could be a great live action movie.

I need to watch it again to see if it is as good as a remember.

I would rewatch. And yes, the well-endowed characters didn't hurt my engagement ;)

The author of the Manga looks to have a good collection of works, I will try another soon. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hiroya_Oku

I am a sucker for latex body suits and they use them very well in this movie.

The jiggling was a bit distracting as they went along, but I respect that they definitely made a choice and stuck with it.

It’s funny, I decided to watch more of it after I replied and I had to stop myself from staying up too late.

The story shifted a bit and became a bit more interesting. The action is pretty good when it happens but the overall direction seems murky and clunky even though it piqued my interest again last night. Still feels like a C+ level anime.

Yeah, it seemed a bit clunky when i watched it and not much action which is why I stopped, but I can tell there could be a good show in there.

I need to just watch over 3 or 4 episodes.

I read a couple of Gantz creator Hiroya Oku's other manga over the past several days. He's definitely my favorite manga artist, ever. His stuff is hyper-detailed and doesn't have many motion lines.

Reminds me of Geof Darrow's art. Darrow happens to be my favorite comic artist, ever.

I was happy to see Bleach returned. Hulu has it subtitled.

I just got into Konosuba. It's a fun, amusing show. My only criticism is it leans too hard into the lewd plots.
