At this point I can't wait for him to be traded just so we don't have to keep reading you whine about it. Hopefully you both get sent to the j*zz and their fans can deal with you.
"Sengun is not playing good basketball right now" - after one game!?!? He didn't "lose" his starting spot, the team made a decision he'd be more useful with the 2nd unit where he can get the ball more and help facilitate with his passing.
Would like to have a chat, either in the UK or in Germany. I like your sarcastic comments, we need them.
He was a journeyman that broke thru and became elite stay at home (near the rim) rim protector. Then teams got more than one or two good 3-pt shooters and drop coverage no longer works. Gobert is the same....but the idiot T-Wolves think old Scholl like many here. Their problem not mine. Again, Bruno is not our Wilt Chamberlain. He is meant to block shots, rebound, set screens, roll to the basket for lobs. All of which he does better than Sengun. Ultimately Jabari is our center for the future or Wembayama or Derick Lively or Kal'el Ware. Guys that can guard the perimeter and shoot 3's. Looney and Robert Williams don't shoot 3's but they defend interior and perimeter. Sengun doesn't do either well. I don't need Pistol Pete Havalachek or John Stockton at center....I want 1 - 4 positions to do that. I need my center to rebound, block shots, and rim run for right now.
It's hard to teach height....but it's also hard to teach foot speed or leaping ability. Sengun even loses every tip off. Gobert has had to lose weight to somewhat stay up with the times. But whether I have Sengun at PF or Center I probably need him to hit 3's at a 5 to 6 attempts per game. Because he lacks speed and leaping ability.
Easy answer. He’s a veteran and throwing 5 young guys on the floor together doesn’t help you win or develop. It just allows 5 guys to continually make mistakes without anyone setting a proper example. And I’m sorry, but boo hoo about his confidence being shook. This is a man’s league. Use it as motivation not an excuse to collapse. Did Ginobili cry about coming off the bench besides being one of the best players in the world? No, because he was smart and had a smart coach that understood egos don’t mean **** when it comes to winning as a team.
Have you seen how clumsy he looks on D? He slightly stumbles every time someone does a dribble move. He’s gonna have a hard time in this league if he’s a starter
I'm sure Lionel Hollins had a vote.....maybe two I know Dedmon pushed Sengun out of the way many times. That boxing out was like a version of a wet, saturated paper sack. DefRebs goes towards overall defense
I hope it's serious because sengun is much much better and deserves to start and silas has a love fest for players like Bruno and Matthew's so unfortunately it takes a serious injury for something to push silas hand to wise up
Not a problem, you do what you gotta do for a plus or negative. I stand by what I post. I'm a big boy. I said 1) KPj/Green should pin their ears back and go downhill....and that means not catering to a 3rd wheel in the form of a POS up player. Just like Harden-Maxey would fair better with Montrez Harrell instead of Embiid. 2) Rockets would go 10-10 in first 20 games. We went toe to toe vs probably the #3 team in the East and #2 team in the West.....people probably saying Apache may know something we don't. 3) Green like MJ- isch.....did you see Green drive off the wing and dunk it? Next year he will probably be 10 pounds stronger and even better. I repeat....what does Green average if he got 28 FGA's like Jordan got in year 3 (age 23)?
I understand the sentiment but we really should not wish injury on anyone, much less one of our players. Just fire Silas and get a real coach that knows how to utilize his assets.
