considering this is the hardest part of the schedule, if you think we will go 10-10, you're thinking we end with around 45-46 wins? I'm still thinking 24-58
I liked what I saw vs the Hawks. Bruno will get better as far as defensive rotations, lob threat, points.... probably go more minutes: 28 mins..11 pts...10 rebs...4 Asts...(dbl/dbl) Josh Christopher did as I hoped he develop. An 8 foot pull up shot....set up an enormous dunk and some sweet passes underneath. He will get better as he gets in a groove. Jalen Green didn't get foul calls. Should have had 6 more free throws. He will hit some 3's that he missed last night. Sengun will stop trying to be Harlem globetrotter. 3 of those 6 TOV's was completely dumb. Porter had 2 dumb TOV's. Missed on some lob attempts or passes to Bruno and others. Mathews will sit as Tate comes back. Hawks- L Grizz- L Bucks- W (struggling w/o Middleton) Jazz- W Jazz- W Blazers- W Suns- L Clippers- L Clippers- L T-Wolves- W (take advantage of KAT defensively) Magic- W Raps- L Pels- L Clippers- L Mavs- W Pacers- W Warriors- L Hawks- L Thunder- W Nuggets- W (take advantage of Jokic defensively) I posted before the Hawks game that the Rockets could win 40+ if they go to the Bruno lineup as starters.....closer to 30 wins if they force the 1-in-4-out post ups/dunker spot with Sengun as a starter.. Rockets went with my advice of letting Green, KPj, and JC pinning their ears back and going downhill. Keep the pace fast.
kobe is reachable for someone, he's more in the 12-15 range but MJ's peak is basically untouchable, not even lebron reached it even though his overall career is greater
LeBron is a putz. Pure power game....no finesse, no speed, no contortion, no body control. Spent most of his career as being known for poor 3-pt shooter and poor FT shooter. Jalen is ahead of both LeBron and MJ in terms of production by age. See end of this seasons totals as I predict 25 points...3 rebs....4 Asts....39% (3P%) MJ was still in college at this time in Jalen Green's time frame.
I am going to predict that that you predict before next season after the Rockets add a top 7 pick and sign a good free agent that for the Rockets to get 59 wins.

By that logic every player in the nba who is under 21 is “ahead of MJ”. Lebron was a superstar as a 20 year old, how the hell is jalen ahead of him
Hawks went from 20 to 40+ wins after drafting Trae Young as the T-Wolves did it last season. With the Rockets getting their identity of dueling banjos (Green/KPj) with the rim protection of Bruno-Jabari-Tari...... accessory type help defenders + 3&D role players in Kenyon/Tate. Sengun will give us good play off the bench. JC will get his 10 to 12 points while attacking and hitting the very good mid range shot he showed vs Hawks; which will set up kick outs, lobs, backdoor passes and explosion dunks off hesi dribbles. Rockets can/should package their draft picks to move up.....nobody can out bid Thunder for Wembanyama. But all I need is Cam Whitmore or one of the Thompson Twins. And I don't think any free agents come to Houston. Most are too old (past 30) that will want $50M per year because of TV contract or younger players that want $30M for mediocre stats like when Bazemore & Tyler Johnson struck it rich just as a TV contract deal hit. I'm ok with: KPj.....JC / TyTy Green...JC Cam Whitmore....Kenyon / Tate Jabari......Tari Bruno......Sengun / Jabari This team could win 52 games.
Sure LeBron is a ballerina and MJ was scoring 25 points per game his final season at North Carolina....vs pros. Look up MJ's 3-pt % as a pro his first 6 seasons. Age correlation. 3's > 2's
yeah a lot of the dominos have already fallen. a few more i could see the rockets surprising the whole league next year. just need a bit more talent and some more experience.
Jordan took 28 FGA's in something like his 3rd season. 0.8 (3PA's) Harden was blasted for taking 21 FGA's by the media in his early years as a Rocket. Labeled "HERO-BALL"....ball hog. What if Green takes 27 FGA's.....what would he average?
