What's KPJ got to do with anything at all? I'm talking about Sengun. Straw man arguments are a waste of time.

You are the one hurling insults at people who view things differently than you.

There are people who understand things better than you and see that KPJ's limitations are actually what is holding the team back, not Sengun's limitations - but we cater to KPJ and demote Sengun. That doesn't make them "Sengun only fans". I have been here since 1997 or so. Sengun wasn't even born. You joined last year. But you act like anyone who realizes that it's the PG play that is making us lose, not Sengun's play, is a "Sengun only fan".

It's fine to have different opinions on this, but n00bs like you who act like they know it all and hurl insults in the GARM are actually the problem.

Get that weak stuff out of here.

What insult? "Sengun only fan?" Is that what constitutes an insult these days? Please. Nice try though. If you can't argue in favour of Sengun without arguing against KPJ, you've already lost. Again, straw man arguments are a waste of time.

You should probably take a step back from the keyboard and calm yourself down. If you have nothing better to do in your life than to rail against presumed "Sengun only fans" and hurl insults, you are a loser.

As the season progresses, it will be increasingly difficult to go with 3-guard lineups because that means leaving some combination of Eason, Smith, Martin, and Tate on the bench.

Why pick Gordon, Matthews, or JC as your third wheel with Green and KPJ? Why not play two forwards and take advantage of some mismatches?

Or if, for some reason, the coaches are committed to playing small, play without a center but still get two young forwards in the game.

Stfu!!! Y’all act like being here for a long time means you know more basketball. Such a dumb argument. A lot of us like myself have been lurking for many years and just didn’t want to join. We would struggle so bad without KPJ, so stop being delusional to make an argument for sissy boy Sengun

Lol at "Sissy boy Sengun". He is going to be a good player. Your comment about him is about as realistic as your fake 37.5 vertical. Your obsession with KPJ is pathetic

Dude one of the biggest reason why i am following Houston is Alperen Sengün. I never said a different thing. But i started to like Houston Rockets more. But my opinion about Alpi and starting from the bench is not because i am Alpi Fan. Thats only stupid! You trade your Center number 1 to Dallas and give a young player (Alpi) the signal that the future is him and the first game you sit him to the bench. That makes not much sense. If you dont want break Alpi you must be careful.
Bruno Fernandes did his best last night and he was yesterday on his highest limit. So i say nothing bad word about this guy. He was better then the most but he is limited. We didnt saw the limit from Alpi. So this guy can be a really strong Player.
If i where Alpi i was very pissed off!!! I think he is!

Cant have 6 turnovers some directly resulting in points for the other team. Thats inexcusable the same it is for any other player on the team. Had his fair share of good plays too though - nice to see him hit a 3 in an actual game vs practice. Safe to say that Silas has been watching these units work and starting Bruno was a smart coaches decision and thats not taking anything away from Sengun.

He looked like A center of the future. THE center of the future?

For reasons that have been stated a bunch in other threads here that seems questionable due to some of his physical limits and playing style.

Though if he can hit a 3 like he did last night that would help.

But frabkly, second guessing the "start Bruno" seens pretty silly given Bruno surprisingly decent output last night and Sengun's TO fest. Also it's not like Bruno is some grizzled 13 year veteran blocking a younger player - he may have some upside left in his trajectory..he just flirted with triple double, which literally nobody would have predicted. Which would be great, even if he just ends up as a trade add in.

Sengun meanwhile was awful last night early and improved as the game went on.

Based on one game, seems like the right decision

I try to use the NBA App on Roku, but often have better luck using my laptop through nba.com.

Internet connection is fine for everything else. If I can stream House of the Dragon at 8 o clock on a Sunday with millions of other people at the same time then I should be able to stream a freaking Rockets game.

I will say though we are lucky with the Houston broadcast team. Man the other ones are really freaking terrible. The Indiana broadcast was nearly unwatchable. They spent an ENTIRE quarter interviewing Halliburton where they kept the camera on him at half screen where you basically missed an entire quarter. Then in the second half the camera operators just decided to bust out some experimental close up shots and totally ditched the typical half court shot where it was basically focusing on a quarter of the half court at a time. Just unwatchable garbage.

Is it just me or do they purposefully try to hide where to actually launch a game feed if you are a league pass subscriber?? It's like a Where's Waldo exercise every year. I swear they do that to just F with people. And you'd think they'd have some sort of setting to know that if you are already subscribed there's no need to make you go through 3 "Subscribe now!" screens.

Again, there wasn't an insult in there. I'm really not going to argue with your hallucinations, that's just odd.

Offense looked like square peg, round hole last night again, as it did much of last season.

Not saying that is or isn't an Alpi thing. Tbd. Obviously Bruno played "well".

JG and Bari did not, though Bari it was a decent amount of pure open looks missed. But idgaf if its missed dunks (as JG had one) or missed hand in face step back 40 footers, if they play better with certain people than others than thats what we should prioritize.

So far, the offense as a whole looked worse to me. Maybe just shot fixing will fix that though.

    TBD.

If Alperen needs the ball to be successful, we must consider tanking to be the goal, because his six TOs were direct assists to ATL. Sheesh, that was a drunk, playoff Harden-worthy performance. That thing he does where he pivots and dumps a no-look bounce pass between his legs to the other team is almost as beautiful as the dump I took this morning. That baby had Apgars of 10 and 10!

If we aren't tanking, he really needs to clean that **** up.

If we are tanking, have at it, Alpy, and work unlimited PnRs with Gary Bird. If you don't stick your butt out and get the moving screen call, Bird can jack one of those "I'm on crack, WTF!" sideways-flailing threes as his defender streaks the other way. Teamwork!

    It's trash.

If you have no competitors/exclusive content you can just have a garbage UX and the world has to suck it up.

Says asshat is not an insult, proceeds to throw out an insult in the post in which he says there were no insults.

    That's DD level cognitive dissonance.
