[ClutchFans] Why Alperen Sengun will come off the bench

JC made one nice pass to Alpi under the basket tonight. Credit where credit is due.

The TO are as well. Sengun averaged 2 per game last season.

I guess that is what happens when you get a vote of mistrust on the first day of your second season from your coaching staff, and you suddenly have to play with Garrison Mathews.

KPJ was good tonight, Sengun wasn't.

It's a mix. Some of these passes were stupid. Just like KPJ switching off and losing the ball carelessly a few times, and constantly missing Jabari in the corner was stupid. But what was really stupid was for Silas to play Tari only 15 minutes and give Mathews and KMJ that many minutes.

 

Gotta give props to Bruno. He was very good. Particularly pick and roll with KPJ.

Hope Sengun pulls it back together. He had some good moments and a lot of turnovers .

Our guards' vision is really horrible. They do not look for an open man, cannot find an open man.

The uptempo of Green, KPJ is good but it also ends in others not getting in the game. Everybody needs more touches.

The discrepancy between what KPJ does well and not well is amazing.

Some of the 5-man rotations were the worst.

The team has tons of talent, but 3 main problems:

1) We have two good back-up centers that can do different things but no starting center
2). genreal playmaking and back-up pg
3) Silas

 

He had 6 turnovers and 0 assists....do you seriously think that was a good game?

 

Not saying he had a good game. KPJ looked worse. Senguns were trying to be slick on dribble handoffs and some should have went to the guards.
KPJ had some terrible turnovers and poor decision making. He’s not a PG.

You’ve proven you can’t be objective at all when it comes to KPJ, he played terrible. Senguns turnovers were terrible.

LOL I'm not being objective? That's adorable. Even with everyone missing their dunks and 3's that KPJ created for them, he still had 7 assists on top of being the lead scorer in the game for the Rockets....and in your mind he's not a PG....while simping for a turnover machine that had 6 turnovers to 0 assists.

Sorry guy, that's flat out absurd.

 

I think we need a steady veteran point guard. Imagine a Chris Paul with Jalen, Tari, Bari, Sengun. KPJ could be 6th man.

Alpi is not the problem.

Silas (as likeable as he is) and KPJ are.
