Bruno and Sengun played almost the same number of minutes. We may be getting to fixated on who “starts.”

Silas doing Silas things again, I guess we are still trying to tank for Wemby?

its not even that. It’s they had something that was working in the preseason and changed it up.
Especially with Bari coming back nobody looked comfortable the entire game. He ran many 5 man lineups that didn’t see any time in the preseason.

i really don't understand why silas decided to change things the day of the first game... if this was the plan the whole time, why didn't he just implement it and speak it into existence way before the season started so that players could get comfortable in their roles?

and sure we looked somewhat competitive tonight (mostly bc cwood is gone) but we had a handful of competitive losses to start last season as well (early lakers game on the road, denver game, etc). this team still lacks any structure offensively and looks like ass on that end.

Sengun had six TOs tonight. Sorry, I don’t think he played well. He got a good amount of points by running the second unit, as intended. Fernando also seems like a much better defender. I’m fine with the rotation.

We were competitive with the Hawks all game despite Bari and Green missing a lot of shots. We’re going to be out of that sweepstakes.

well i was wrong. Sengun looked horrible out there. i can imagine the coaching staff was pissed at practice with all the loose passes and turn overs.

his D still looks bad but we really need his playmaking. he has to stop being so careless with the ball if he wants to play though. it was cute the first season but mans gotta grow up quick or he will be on team #2 faster than you can say wembamyama.

Why benching Stephen Silas and starting Mahmoud Abdelfattah is the right move. MY COLUMN:

This was a dumb change. Way to demote and demotivate one of your best young players completely unnecessarily.

Lol, the move actually paid off because Bruno did start off well, and Sengun closed the game well after a rough first half, but here's one single play that proves I'm right!

Considering Sengun's special move is his passing, Fernando looked by far the superior playmaker tonight in the flow of the offense. Still love Sengun, but as most of everybody who isn't only a Sengun fan and not a Rocket fan has been saying, he still needs to develop before he's considered a focus. He's not there yet at all.

Should Sengun even come off the bench?
