So bottom of order in the 4th including Bader again. Hate to ask, but do you get someone warming up in the bull pen? Do you even let JV pitch the 5th?

 

If Verlander can give them 5 innings, I'll be very happy given how much he's struggled with his command.

My wife said Verlander always has that mildly-annoyed-dad look on his face. Now I can’t unsee it.

 

Oh not for $40 million. I just don't think he will ask for that much. I think the number of years (3-4) will matter more to him. The next few years are all about legacy now. Not how much he can squeeze out of contract.
