    2nd unit of
    Tate (when he gets back)
    KMJ
    Tari
    Sengun

I like it. Tari and Sengun get to be the focal points.

Yeah, that 'I need the ball' is really crap. In the end, he might not be as likable as his constant smile promises. Let's see how he handles the current events.

Demoting to the bench is not enough and you are asking him to succeed in a 4 man line-up?

Don't know who the backup PG is yet. Hopefully they shuffle KPJ and Green so that they can split PG duties.

It makes perfect sense. The starting group already has way too many guys who need touches. Alpy has to have the offense focused on him to be effective. He's not the caliber of player who deserves to have the starting offense run through him. Let him run the 2nd unit offense.

Whether people want to see it or not, He has a very limited skill set.

The starting unit needs a center who will rim run and be an animal on the boards. That's Fernando.

    Perhaps you are overthinking it?

He's not divisive. He is just a young dude that is trying to figure out if he fits in the NBA - and the coaches are looking at his skillset and thinking about where he best fits with the team.

From what I saw in pre-season, we were a little stilted offensively with Alpy on the court.
A few kinks to work out - let's see how it goes?

Are u trying to imply that Sengun starting is the difference between tanking and not tanking?

We would win more games if he was the hub of the offense.

This is the kind of hyper opinionated article that makes me think @Clutch is full of BBS.

I think he saw the writing on the wall. No wonder he played like crap against the Heat. The man can take people off the dribble, ask Boogie, but could care less about doing that against the Heat. I really wanted to like Silas too.

This season everyone is going to get a chance, and get touches. It doesn't really matter at this point. The reality is in 3 or 4 seasons maybe all of these players are coming off the bench either on the Rockets or another team. It's depressing to think that, and I think Jabari & Jalen have superstar potential, but let's be honest about where this team is in the rebuild.

Right now the team needs to do whatever it can to put these players in positions to showcase what they can do what they have the highest upside of doing well for the rest of their career. Makes sense to have Sengun come off the bench for the time being where he can get the offense ran through him more often, and showcase his potential to be the next great passing and crafty finishing big man in the NBA.

Nikola Jokic came off the bench for 14 games in his second NBA season (he was 21, a year older than Alpi is now). His stats in the first year were similar to Alpi's.

Jokic got about 28 minutes in his second year.

That's what I would like to see for Alpi.

He’s not. But give him a fair shake.
