    This is terrifying, imagine a young family with kids who has to see this on a daily basis. California is truly a lost cause.

    Centers where people can use drugs safely and get treatment are a key part of combating substance abuse problems

    The problem is nobody wants it in their back yard

    It's also peak NIMBY to complain about everything going to hell and then b**** even more when the solutions actually arrive lol

    California has the problem fo both wanting to address many of these issues through means like providing safe places to do drugs but also it's always had a huge NIMBY problem.

    the funny thing about homeless advocates is that the want these people to stay homeless , do drugs , and have no jobs. This is why it only gets worse .
    A safe area where you can do drugs ? Guess what that attracts

    Neighbor "Bill" echoed those sentiments as a business owner himself. He sometimes is unable to enter his building because of the amount of people sleeping or splayed out on the sidewalk blocking the door.

    "Every morning it's a roulette. When you show up at your office, are there going to be 10 people passed out in front of your building? Are they going to be violent? This was never a problem before HealthRight 360 moved in," he says.
