    As much as I despise modern gaming business models, I can't really blame the producers. They're going to get away with as much as their customers allow them to, and gamers are really some of the dumbest consumers on the planet.

    Gotham Knights looks kinda meh to me, but it being 30 FPS only is not something that upsets me (especially if it is a locked 30 FPS). Elden RIng is a mess on PS5/XSX IIRC (and a locked 30 FPS would have been preferable over the drops in ER), but people seem to tout it as the best game ever. That aspect of things seems like a non-story to me, but hey, clickbait is fun.

    Dude Elden Ring in performance mode is better than non performance mode

    Gotham knights looks like crap compared to Arkham Knight

    Elden Ring performance mode had a pretty unstable framerate (45FPS-60 FPS, locked 30 FPS would probably be preferred). Quality mode was even worse, so you're right that performance mode was better, but neither one of them were really all that great for performance. You know it is bad when the recommended performance mode is running the PS4 version on PS5. But From Software = great devs, while WB Games Montréal = terrible dev scamming gamers out of the extra FPS they deserve!

    Gotham Knights will probably be a mess, but I'm just making the point that a game only offering one mode (@ 30 FPS) isn't that terrible in and of itself. People shouldn't be upset by that. They should be upset about the stuff that (might?) make it a terrible game.

    Me. Still on Elden Ring. I made it to a tree with the bubble people, but I had to skip the fight with the blood lord. That is not even reasonable.

    Konami screwed up and uploaded the whole presentation a few minutes before it was supposed to go live. Maybe that should give you an idea of how these new SH projects will go. :D

    We do have SH2 remake, a new SH film (yay?), and 3 other SH projects (Townfall, Ascension, and f). Guess SH2 is the furthest along and the biggest budget (though f looks like it could be AAA too?), but I'm not sure I really saw enough of any of the games. Here's SH2 remake:

    People are complaining about random dumb things like his face being slightly different, but it looks OK to me I guess. I'd need to see more to really good a good feel though.

    Kinda looks like a fan made mod for the RE remakes lol

    There is no way to appease silent hill fans other than by making the original available in modern consoles and we all know that's impossible. There is just something about og sh2 that is hard to replicate with just modern graphics. imo the limitations of the ps2 and the way team silent got around them jank and all just adds so much to the vibe of the game. Some people hate on the voice actors but i think the weird delivery of their lines adds as well.
