I think it is a mind trick when he states that he is an Alp fan and says an aspect that is detrimental to Sengun. He thinks he can draw people in.
It is funny how these 4-5 posters always post the same thing over and over again and talk about 'Sengun Fans', as if they all think the same thing. Sengun fans want this, want that. lol! I love the team, I love Sengun, but it is best for the rockets that we don't invest in him. Sengun fans were happy that Rockets lost etc. Get your racist bullying elsewhere. The posts are filled with hatred and negativity but they are all very loving posters. I have no idea where this comes from, but these are surely the most toxic characters I have seen over the internet.
Robert Williams was not a random choice, I mentioned him because he would be a great fit to the Rockets, an undersized, mediocre Center who would accept to be in the shadow of the others. Celtics use him at that role because he is a limited guy. He was/is not forced that role, Celtics had to accept the situation. The other option was Bruno and his swap-mate Daniel Theis, much more limited players. Rockets on the contrary is forcing a talented young guy to a limited role: a certain underusage. If Celtics gets Alpi, they will certainly adjust the system to get more from Sengun. Intelligence is best described as to adapt new conditions. I am sure there are lots of intelligent managers/players in Boston. The second issue :you mentioned Tate at the same bracket of JG,Bari,KPJ and Alpi. It might be a joke but it is not a funny one.
Man, this team will have depth for sure. As for pecking order, I think clear 1 is Green. Next tier is Bari and KPJ. Next tier is EG and Sengun. Though I think Sengun can be played in a way to maximize the other 4s performance, much better than Bruno. I think we'll see enough of Sengun and Bruno to make that decision.
Why do you bring up a trade scenario immediately? OMG two Sengun fans do not agree on something. The world is coming to an end! We have not seen one single regular season game. We have not seen how current roster plays with each other. Silas talks positively about Sengun, and wants to develop him. And this is an amazing young core. You rarely get a young core like this to be excited about. The east coast thing is meaningless, based on a few players. And even if it is more players, there is no reasonable explanation to it. It is just a matter of fit, good organization and etc.
Maybe if he earns it, he'll get it. Seems to work everywhere else in the league, throughout history, and even on this team last season (Josh.) Y'all wouldn't know about that though, right?
I think you’re a cool poster with some measured Sengun takes even if he is your favorite player…don’t let them try to lump u in as some Jeremy Lin level only fan
Lurking since 1997. First post. No one knows whether Alpi is good enough. It is his second season. He shows some elite skills - passing and post moves. He also shows some below average skills - defensive positioning, foul prone, hasn't shown an ability to finish lobs. I would like to see him finish stronger, become a good defender, and develop a good enough jumper to not be a liability. I am excited to watch this season for the first time since the early Yao years. Even during the Harden years the TEAM wasn't very good. So many good young players with great upside. Alpi;s story is just beginning. I am a fan of the team building process. Stone looks to be off to a good start. Jalen Green and Jabari Smith look to be elite talents. Tari is good. KPJ looks much improved as a floor leader from last year and his new contract looks good for both parties. 30 wins may be their upside, but I don't care if they make the playoffs or not. They will be fun to watch.
LMAO if he earns it, and that's a maybe. Sure Bruno, who commited 3 fouls in 9 minutes in the last practice game earned it. If Sengun commited 3 fouls in 9 minutes, I can't imagine how much you are going to use against him. I'll just put a link to hustle stats of nba rookie centers down here, so you can see how stupid your one-dimaensional take is and how he has more than earned it. There are tons of examples of how he fares as a rookie compared to other good players. And you still can argue, he has to earn it over Bruno. https://www.nba.com/stats/players/h...eason&PlayerPosition=&PlayerExperience=Rookie The level of discrimination you hold against Sengun, the time you take to condescend or hold every poster who supports Sengun, the stupidity of your reasoning not to play him can only be explained by some sort of racism, I guess. Again, take that **** elsewhere.
Thank you, I got upset because the level of constant attack, belittling and condescending of 'Sengun fans' has come to a level, I can only explain by racism. Anyway I put them to ignore, but they clog the threads a lot.
I just don’t think Sengun will be as effective with such a guard dominated, fast paced, starting lineup. He could be a super 6th man where he is able to actual orchestrate.
Last year we had people on here saying we need to build the team around him, and I was like are you crazy. Geez
Alperen is 209cm i do not know exact imperial version of it. But he was 208 cm last year and he was 202 cm at u17 nt
No one wants trade, especially me. I just wanted to remind people what they have and what they would get instead. The other two back-ups scored 1 point in combined 31 minutes at Indiana.Alpi had the highest assist number. No one mentions these kind things and parroting Alpi's shortcomings. Even someone put Tate before Sengun in pecking order. If they do because of racism it is not acceptable but we can understand the reason, otherwise it is pure idiocy. Meanwhile east coast thing is not a nonsense, it is a fact but I prefer 90% Houstonian Alpi to 100%Bostonian/New Yorker Sengun.
Bullshit, you've posted over and over about the same trade. You're so transparent it's actually laughable. We get it, you want Sengun to go to a contender so he can ride their coat tails. And wake up, Tate IS before Sengun in the pecking order. He's a better player as of right now, regardless of potential. And it's not close.
