Current radar here in nyc is not promising. I'd be surprised if they try to start before like 9:30 pm, and even then will likely be light rain until like 11 pm.
Dam… what if it keeps raining? Who ever comes out with the dub is getting no sleep coming back to the juice box!
If Gaurdians advance, would they fly straight to Houston or would they fly to Cleveland tonight and then Houston tomorrow?
Honestly, this is a example how stupid the MLB is. No other major league would cross their fingers thinking they could play a game when it was highly predictable there was going to be rain at 7 pm based on a forecast that I saw on Saturday. I get with dates, it made it all tough, but you are a multi-billion dollar sports league. You can't have plan b's c's and everything set up before the playoffs and all. I mean the Yankees are your golden boy team that makes you the most money, and you're expecting them to make the playoffs. And it rains in NYC in the fall. A lot. This isn't news. Then on top of you just make everyone wait and sit on their hands without making a decision because you have no reasonable option but to play the game at midnight. Things like are just an examples why the MLB has been passed by in popularity by both the NFL and NBA. Made the same stupid decisions and processes during the 2020 COVID season, and in the CBA negotiations over the off season.
Meanwhile the Astros and their fans are sitting at home with their legs kicked up and dry, waiting to see which team's ass they will whoop.
