Now that everyone got their petty quotients out of the way (ME ) I like what other dudes have said ITS TIME TO GET TO WORK!! Lets embrace winning as many games as possible and building championship chemistry!
That's a fun way of spinning it, but with incentives he'll make close to twice what you thought he was worth. I look forward to a few months from now when even the most ridiculous anti KPJ types will be desperately walking back the things they said all summer.
Myles Turner is the only name on that list that I find interesting, but obviously if we got Wembanyama then I'd no longer have any interest in Turner. I would love for them to use their cap space to absorb the last year of somebody's toxic contract for a draft pick, but I want to then have max money in 2024.
I know many are down on Silas. I think we're lucky to have him. With such a young group, think he's workin it masterfully. Has heart and smarts. Think he'll be around for a good bit.
Yeah, but honestly, I'd rather pay the guy that is likely to punch someone in the face than the guy who gets punched in the face.
Sun is shining bright in Houston sports today. 1. Texans got rid of cancer Easterby 2. Rockets and KPJ enter into a very reasonable contract extension 3. Rockets season is starting soon and team looks very promising with youngster 4. Astros in their 6th consecutive ALCS
I think if he, JG, Tari, Bari and whoever (including the 23 lotto pick) reach their potential, without a doubt they're a killer line up. Card's played right, the next decade gonna be sweet no doubt.
well good for kpj, he is talent god cant deny, but I really do like the structure of this contract, lets players really breathe and not waste a dime
I was thinking abt it… Could Poole’s deal be accompanied by a litigation release? I mean, talk about dangerous/unhealthy work environment! If I am Poole’s agent, I’d be: "Look guys, here’s our number and we put all this ugly incident behind us, are we on the same page here?"
I mean in 2024 which max FA you think gonna be available? These guys are either old, wont leave their team or not really better than what we have now. https://www.spotrac.com/nba/free-agents/2024/ufa/ Maybe I'm a homer but I think the max FAs we should get are Jalen Green and some combination of Tari and Jabari.
Nope. My entire thing was wanting to see him have a good year. We now have 2 years at almost no cost to see it, with 0 committed long term
