Well the good news is the Astros know they can't take either NLCS team lightly if they reach the World Series given they're both wild card underdogs.

How many game in MLB has their teams won? It is HARD to win Championships in pro sports. Dusty has won more than 2000 games as a Manager. He knows more about baseball than you.

The 2019 Nats were the best team in baseball since May, record-wise.
Braves were never a slouch, they bought an outfield at the trade deadline.
We've seen the Phils, so I think I'd prefer to see them, plus that damn Juan Soto....
But first we have to get there.

Lunhow wasn't GM in St. Louis. He was Vice Pres. of player development. He didn't have control over the operations. Crane gave him the keys. Didn't say he wasn't good at what he did. However, there have been MANY that were great in one organization...only to fail when they get full control.

By that logic, Terrance Gore is a much better baseball player than Mike Trout.

The Mariners were the hottest team in the MLB since June. The way you stop a hot team is with pitching.

    Oh that number is zero

And they should know more about baseball than I do. It's their profession.

Problem is over the last 2-3 decades people in their profession have been better than them, if you're into that winning championships thingy

Wouldn’t all stadiums stop selling food after the 7th or 8th inning, regardless?

While stadiums would certainly make more money if they continued selling stuff, I’m not sure what the overtime plan is for the minimum wage workers they have to staff those places.

I wouldn't want Urquidy traded as I don't trust the pitching depth in the minors despite trusting pitching depth in the minors the last 3 years. Though, if the Astros trade a SP, he's about the only one that wouldn't be too big a loss. Though, doubtful the gain would be big from an Urquidy trade (i.e., probably not getting a CF better than Chas for Urquidy).

I'm not really sure who I want to play next.
It would be so sweet to beat the Yankees again but the narrative from the media would be relentless.

Luis Garcia was a ****ing boss. I've rewatched his 5 innings twice today.

Well, that happened the minute Crane bought the team and hired him.
