[Official] ALDS Mariners vs. Astros

Going back to the 6th annual Astros invitational- The ALCS aka the Astros League Championship Series.

 

A record 6 straight ALCS appearances is even more amazing when you remember this includes all the years that didn't have an ALDS and winning the division put you directly in the ALCS.

If whoever the GM next year wants to trade Urquidy for a cf or 1B I'm on board. There's still pitching depth in minors.

 

Can you imagine if Cal would let Caserio have free reign to rebuild his franchise the way Crane let Luhnow rebuild the Stros?

 

Caserio doesn't deserve to be in the same sentence as Luhnow. New England's drafting was never that great. They had Tom Brady, and he covered up a lot of New England's ineptness.

I am now rooting for Phillies over Padres.

I think they are a flawed team that does not have a good defense nor deep pitching so SHOULD lose. The sheer depth of talent on the Padres is worrisime.

Similarly the Yankees would be the easier matchup in my opinion, but I simply can't root for them.

But I really want it to see it go 5 games because of 'dians pitching depth.

 

Neither did Luhnow when he was hired.

Luhnow didn't become the "genius" many of you portray him as until Crane gave him the freedom to experiment with the tear down.

 

Ignore most of the BS that is posted on this board. Many of these Mofos are ****ing clueless about baseball. They get distracted by "shiny" objects and think they know better than Click and Dusty.

Nope. Not gonna do that. Learned my lesson in 2019.
I just hope that should it get to a closeout game 6 or 7, Dusty empties out the silver bullets by piggy backing Lance if he has too.

Although this is the first time since the Dotel, Lidge and Billy The Kid days that I've felt this confident in a bullpen. It's playoff baseball so any of them can get rocked but every option will give you their best.
Maton was the only shaky one that you didn't know what you would get and he couldn't handle his brother getting a hit off him.

None of this matters if they can't win the AL.

 

Yeah I hoped the Nationals would reach the WS in 2019 because I thought we would have an easier time with them. I thought the same thing about the Braves last year.

I am done doing that.
