Never understood the 'hot' argument. Isnt whoever wins the series the 'hotter' team?

I agree. Any team that wins a playoff series has momentum and is hot. Neither of those teams will be happy to see an Astros team that just swept the Mariners and on full rest.

Yankees were 167-0 in the post season when leading by multiple runs going into the 9th inning.

Clay Holmes said he expected to be used tonight and felt fine. He wasn't.

    Dramma.

All 3 other series are reasons why y'all should stop getting on Altuve/JV and the Astros when they hit a slump or make a mistake.

Astros are the only Favorite who played like it so far in the ALDS. I mean 6 straight ALCS appearances. There is a reason that is so rare.

    It's baseball.

So Garcia had an eye popping performance, as did the other pitchers. Who gets the ball in Game 4?

Obviously it will be JV, Framber, McCullers in Games 1-3. I would think you’d want to go with Javier or Garcia in Game 4. I’m guessing Dusty will use Javier as a piggy back if needed in Games 1-3…so it probably just depends how Games 1-3 go.

Then you have JV, Framber and McCullers again in Games 5-7.

If it's the Yankees then Javier would pitch. Remember his dominant 2 games against the Yankees.

    Hader vs Betts is solid.

    Sit down Mookie.

99mph and then a nasty changeup

You can't hit that unless you're guessing

Remember back in July when Seattle fans cheered Meyers getting drilled in the elbow? Or when Servais threw at Altuve's head?

Can we forfeit HFA if we make the WS?

Games 3-7 are consecutive, so McCullers won't pitch 3 and 7. I suspect you see:

    JV
    Framber
    McCullers
    Javier
    JV
    Framber
Garcia (or Urquidy if Garcia is needed in a situation like today)

Today has been one of the greatest sports days.

Astros & Longhorns win. Yankees, Dodgers, Alabama, USC lose.

    Love it

The only thing I’m concerned about right now amid all the great developments today is Verlander going on 8 days rest before his next start.

Go root for the opposite team since you say our destiny is to lose in the WS. You're a terrible fan
