Id like to see more mariner's post game interviews. I enjoy their lamentations far more than astros celebrations
Please check my math here: Game 1, Jeremy Pena gets the clutchest of clutch hits with 2 outs in the 9th to allow Yordan Alvarez to walk it off. Game 2, Jeremy Pena gets a critical hit with 2 outs against a pitcher mowing us down in the 6th inning, once again allowing Yordan Alvarez to be the hero. Game 3, Jeremy Pena hits the GW HR in the 18th inning.
Guardians seem scarier than the Yanks. They play hard and play small-ball efficiently. Pitching is solid too.
Been busy so haven't posted since like the 10th but what a freaking game. Pena really has stepped it up
Without Peña, there is no Alvarez. I think you gotta seriously consider giving Jeremy the MVP of the series, no?
As much as I would love to see the Yankees lose tomorrow, we would be much better served to have the Yankees win and push this to 5 games. Both teams would have to travel back to NY and the winner travel back to Houston.
This got me thinking. Had Maton didn't punch that locker and didn't break his pinky, he would have probably pitched in tonight's game. Could he have kept the Mariners scoreless? Obviously we'll never know but still....
If Cole goes tomorrow and Cortes goes game 5, Yankees game 1 starter be Severino? Would Cole go game 2? Is that om regular days rest or short?
