Next Houston Astros, I don't think so.

Pedro Martinez has no Idea about our Rookies.
    Yainier Diaz, Hunter Brown

    Pedro Leon as our CF

I think Our Young Core in Minor Leagues Separates the Astros than the rest of the League.

SS Wilmer Flores and SP Forrest Whitley coming back from Injuries can be really good also.

    Verlander 13.50 ERA
    Altuve 0-87

    Astros win the series 3-0.

He says the Phillies are the 2002 champs.

    So there's that.

Dusty was gonna have verlander pitch game 4? So why was javier not available today? Just no room?

Its hilarious to see how optimistic Mariners fans are right now for the “future”…. Do they not realize they just got beat by a rookie SS and a 23 year old stud starting pitcher who happens to be 6th on our depth chart?

I have no problem with Dusty going with Verlander had the Mariners won. He's your ace and he'd be on full rest. I assume Javier would've gone in Game 5, but thankfully we'll never have to worry about that.

The real question now is who does Dusty go with in Game 4 of the ALCS. Before today I would've said Javier hands down, but Garcia might've earned that start with tonight's performance.

They’re going to need 5 starters in the ALCS (if its not a sweep) due to them eliminating the second off day this year.

Then again, I’m sure it will rain at least one of the days in Cleveland or NY…

It's nice that after an 18 inning game, the bullpen will be fully rested before the next game (except for Luis)

To be honest, the entire bullpen (minus Luis and Hunter Brown) would have been available tomorrow.

Speaks to the depth of this pitching staff… the total strength I’ve been hammering from day one of spring training. The main reason this team won 106 games and has the potential to be the most dangerous Astros playoff team yet.

Garcia did a great job coming in as relief, I would go Javier as starter for 5 innings, Garcia the rest unless he shows signs of trouble. Maybe Pressly for 9th. Does Javier perform better as a starter or relief pitcher? I'm just assuming as a starter which is why I went with Javier, then Garcia to finish whoever off.
