So what is Sengun's actual height if he's 6'10 that's still taller than Jarrett Allen

After watching the rockets , height should be the last thing we should be worried about at C

Allen has a 7’6 wingspan tho while Sengun’s is just 7 ft

you guys are so hung up on height. If Sengun is 7'4 and cant do anything with the height it doesn't matter anyway.

It's so hilarious how people have gone from hyping Sengun up as the second coming last year, to him being the new person everybody wants to **** on this year. People are stupid tbh. Bigs take longer to develop anyway, he's young as **** and he played great in the summer. The knee jerk reactions in this place are ridiculous.

I sadly agree. He's too small against certain lineups, fouls alot, but I don't agree about trading him.

He's going high in ESPN 's fantasy drafts. Ranked 60. Not that it means a lot, but it surprised me.

Not surprising at all. If given the minutes, he will produce something like 15/7/4 and at least 1 steal and 1 block. Maybe some threes. Good FG %. He is on a trajectory to be a star - if given the minutes, of course, and assuming he will keep working on the weaker parts of his game.

Fire up the trade machine! What can we get for Sengun?
Bruno gonna be starting. @ashleyem will get her wish.

It also could bring a strong argument for why he and the Rockets could be better off bringing their presumed starting center off the bench and moving Bruno Fernando and his greater rebounding muscle and pick-and-roll style into the starting lineup.

“I felt better because — I want to be honest — because I didn’t touch the ball in Miami,” Sengun said. “That’s not my game. Last game, we shared the ball. I touched the ball. I played my game. I felt better. That’s a good game for me so I was happy.

“When I’m touching the ball, when I’m playing my game, I can do everything. Sometimes, I can get down.”

Off the bench, Sengun could get more touches than when setting screens for guards Green and Kevin Porter Jr., as any big men playing with the Rockets’ top scorers must. Sengun also could have advantages with his post moves that he would not against starters and might not have much opportunity to try if he is starting, anyway.

If he remains a starter, Silas does not plan to get the ball to Sengun early in games just to keep him engaged.

“It’s going to be hard for me because I’m going to play with big players like (Nikola) Jokic, (Joel) Embiid,” Sengun said. “I’m excited for this. It’s going to be a good experience for me. I’m ready for this. I’m young still. I’m going to learn.

“I’m always ready, when I’m coming from the bench or when I’m starting. It doesn’t matter for me.”

Sengun’s minutes would likely be roughly the same whether he starts or not, but off the bench, there would be more post-up chances than as a starter.

I'm not gonna get into the Sengun sucks nonsense, but him coming off the bench is probably best for him and the team right now. He needs to get the ball with some regularity to be effective, and the offense heavy starting unit probably needs somebody whose stronger in the other off ball areas.

Right now if his playmaking isn't being utilized he's not terribly valuable. Doesn't mean he can't continue to grow as a player and be more productive in other ways.

Even listening to his interview today, he doesn’t like not having the ball at all. So yeah, take your A**to the bench then
