I'd probably get dropped by some 60 year old pro bowler. My 16 year old is a boxer, I out weigh him by 70 pounds. If I couldn't deal with him in the first 30 seconds I would gas and he'll kill me. Now he doesn't know that and I'd like to keep it that way lol.
As someone only slightly taller than Altuve he’s not a midget. If he is then I’m in trouble as I’m getting shorter as I age. More on topic though is Altuve is a perfect example of what I mean that most pro athletes would likely defeat most people. Altuve may be small but consider where he gets that power to hit home runs and the speed to turn double plays. He’s very strong for someone his size and very quick. He has very good hand speed and even if he doesn’t have boxing training he could probably pick it up pretty quickly and with his fast hands and core strength be pretty dangerous to a non athlete.
Yeah, I know he is not a midget, it was said tongue in cheek. And as I said that I realized I never really understaood what tongue in cheek meant. Tongue-in-cheek describes an exaggerated facial gesture — pushing a cheek out with one's tongue — meant to convey contempt or irony. It may have originated as a theatrical device, a technique for an actor to indicate that a statement was meant to be sarcastic or a joke.Jul 28, 2021
Altuve is a little person... who would fight at super middleweight. So actually he's a middle person.
Yeah I know. That said as a short guy myself, and I’ve been close enough to Altuve to establish I am taller (not by much) i still gotta stand up for us little folk.
Why are all these athletes trying to get in the ring? from Lamar Odom boxing, to even Swaggy P Who actually pays to see these 40 year old retired athletes fight? if an athlete ain’t boxing, he’s got a podcast podcasting gotta be the most oversaturated market in America…Raja Bell has a podcast Who tf cares what Raja Bell got to say? The most interesting thing he ever did was defend Kobe in the 2006 playoffs. Freaking Byron Scott has a podcast. Stop!!!
