    Well its not a knee jerk. Tyty is not a top pick, he has to show what he can do when he gets the chance to do it like Tari did. I agree that I like TyTy"s skill set over Nix but he didn't show it in the time that was given to him (2) games. The league is tough. TyTy not being ready is not an indictment on what he can become. Gup fought his way into the lineup with hard work. TyTy will have to do the same; he didnt do enough to supplant Nix.

    @Nook was saying that the development of the rookies (jalen) was due to the other assistant coaches.

    I don't think its fair to discredit Silas here. Its his coaching staff, he is going to determine who players are working with.

    That should not be taken away from him. In Dal, he was that assistant coach, working with Luka.

    naw fam i still remember Silas dumping Jalen in the corner for half the season. We are lucky Jalen has a great attitude, a great work ethic and responds to disrespect. That "he was on the coaching staff with Luka, Steph, and Lebron" is tired. Its just like all those coaches with Tom Brady on the roster. Greatness is greatness.

    Well, Jalen fought his way out of the corner LAST season. Never ever forget Silas put Jalen in the corner AFTER he went off against the Lakers. I know some of you like to say Jalen wasn't ready his rookie year. That was a lie.

    Silas the only HC who gets zero credit for the development of his players

    no other HC gets “it was all the assistants”

    shrug* Gup last year had to track down Silas to see what he had to do to get into the rotation. now he's trash again.

    Silas gets zero credit for the development of any of his players, it’s all the assistants

    then when he was an assistant coach working with players and they credit him for helping in their development, that gets dismissed as well

    I see what’s going on here

    I will say Silas is really trying with sengun in the offense. Now I love to see that, but with Sabotage Silas, I wonder if this is just a ploy to nerf all the other players.

    IMO he has shown it. He's shown his skillset he's just young. Im still wondering what Nix would be and to me it looks like he'll be out of the league in a year.

    Jalen Green playing good not because of Silas.

    Silas trusted his Nwaba and Wood more than Green last season. He is good at frustrating rookies.
