I have to assume Zelensky has some extremely compromising pictures/videos/information on Hunter Biden and/or Joe Biden. Why else are we pumping BILLIONS of dollars towards Ukraine when there is no viable plan or exit strategy there? Most Americans would rather that money be spent at home or even better, returned to taxpayers.

you people, and by "you people" I mean progressive democrats, are remarkably extravagant with your use of personal attacks.

I'm not sure whether you're following the lead of your politicians, or they're emboldened by you, but there is a lavish consistency to your style of "debate."

    "Personal attacks?"
That's a serious accusation and you're surprised to be called out for it? Why you decided to say it is bizarre. I don't recall seeing anyone, much less "plenty of people," calling for such a thing. As someone with a vivid memory of the murders of Jack and Robert Kennedy, I would have noticed, yet you portray yourself as a "victim?"

My comment is based on observed behavior, and was not directed at any one person. If you feel attacked by it, that says more about you than me.

and bringing the Kennedys into it has no bearing on what someone else might have said about W.

You can't give one example of your "observed behavior." Not one. Please, post an example of someone here calling for something dire to happen to George Bush during his time in office.

"If you feel attacked by it, that says more about you than me."

You really are a sad creature. I never implied that your unsupported broad based attack on members here was an attack on me. The reason I mentioned the Kennedy's is based on personal experience. I saw Jack Kennedy riding down Broadway in an open convertible in Houston the day before he was murdered. I was cheering, like hundreds of others, and could have hit him with a rock, I was that close.

I stayed up all night waiting for the results of the California primary because I supported Bobby Kennedy, and wept when he was shown laying on the pavement, eyes open, blood pooling around his head, not yet dead. Believe me, if someone here posted that they wanted George Bush dead, I would remember seeing it and would have called him or her out for it. That's why I mentioned them.

You made up your "observed behavior" and got called out for it. Your response is to play the victim. It's pathetic.

dude, I'm as old as you, and remember where I was when JFK was shot, RFK murdered, MLK, Sadat, and innumerable others. has no bearing on this discussion.

and if you don't think posters here wanted W dead, not to mention Trump, you haven't been paying attention.

One day after the Pentagon confirmed it was discussing satellite services with other companies to replace Starlink, Musk realized his free publicity was at-risk, along with all the taxpayer funding he's received for his starlink terminals.

Which survey are you basing that last statement on? Most Americans support continued military aid to Ukraine and not capitulating to Russia’s territorial demands.

    https://www.ipsos.com/en-us/news-po...kraine-despite-russia-threatening-use-nuclear

However, fewer Americans say they are worrying a great deal or a fair amount about the Ukrainian people than earlier this year (64% vs 69% in late April). Despite this, most Americans (66%) continue to support the U.S. providing weapons to Ukraine, although this is down seven points from late April (73%).

Also, compared to late April, Americans are less likely to support a candidate who advocates for continuing to provide Ukraine with military aid (69% vs 76% in late April) or one who supports Ukrainian refugees (72% vs 78%). Ultimately though, 73% of Americans say the United States should continue to support Ukraine despite Russia threatening to use nuclear weapons.

The US has coverage services set up all around the world. Of course they are going to utilize it and pay for it. Starlink only works on starlinks terminals. The US has billions in communication systems that won't work on starlink. The US would be completely stupid not to utilize it. The difference now is the Ukraine situation is a bit more stable so this equipment can be deployed in Ukraine.

The US will continue to use and pay for incumbent services and the US will continue to use Starlink. It will diversify because that is what you do. . Have redundant systems.
Not everything is a zero sum game.
