I mean they have had all preseason, they have until Monday night - if they want him for sure, they can try to get a decent contract done, otherwise, I am going to own a certain trolls signature for a month. DD
Yeah, that is what I think to, but the way he has been playing this preseason, i would not be surprised if they change their tactics. If he plays like this all year, he will be more than 20m a year easy. DD
Looks like a pretty great partner for Jalen in the backcourt to me. Genuinely don't understand why people are rooting for him to be otherwise when it clearly works when they're clicking.
Massive leap in the preseason in TS% and he is scoring effortlessly, he and Jalen both look very comfortable on the floor....game has slowed down for them both. DD
KPJ Needs to let Sengun run the O and slowly get his PG skills up while he worry about cutting and PnR with a big that likes to roll.
I have been a KPJ doubter. But I am encouraged with his preseason performance so far. The KPJ crowd are going to gloat. That's okay. It's much preferred over seeing him unimproved. I still don't think we should extend him now. Let him prove himself in the regular season. Pay him if he is great. Lowball him if he regresses. KPJ should also bet on himself and refuse any lowball offer now.
I definitely thought he looked great, and it's encouraging signs that he has legitimate development. I am not sure what the technical free throw was all about and why he decided to take it. It was a small thing that happened, but I hope this doesn't continue in the regular season. Green is shooting 96% from free throws in the pre-season, compared to KPJ who is shooting 72%, technical free throws should always go to the best free throw shooter. Although ultimately a minor issue, it contributes to the idea that you probably want to see how this season plays out before committing to an extension.
I must have missed that Tech, but the coach should make that clear.....Green is shooting 95% he should take em. https://www.espn.com/nba/insider/st...-poole-cameron-johnson-pj-washington-deadline DD
He played well again. Props given. It's obvious though that Green is the most talented player on the team though. Still, its only preseason
Like a alcoholic speaking at AA for the first time after 4 months of going to meetings I just want to see the best WINNING backcourt in the nba
If he is asking for more than his cap hold, it doesn't make any sense to extend him until after the season and they have spent their cap space after which they can exceed the cap to retain him . Only way it makes sense to sign him now is if the offer is below the cap hold which is $9.65m.
