i was hoping TyTY would fight his way onto the squad like Tari. it's not happening, he is not ready yet..

Some of y’all are way higher on TyTy than me. I’ve even seen posts saying he should be the starting point

 

Don't forget...This is going to be a different team with Jabari in the lineup...

 

I agree about TyTy's skill set, but he didn't show it. you have to show it.

 

At least TW looks like he has the athleticism to be an effective guard. Nix doesn't. Washington just looks like he's processing too much.

Yup even better spacing and better defense. Now this probably is preseason hype but I think tank fans are going to be disappointed. I think if all the core guys are healthy and playing full minutes, this team is going to win 30.

 

30 wins when your best players are 19-20 is never a disappointment

 

Well I think some fans will be disappointed because that's not going to be a low enough win total to get a top 3 pick.

 

Really enjoyed this game. Jalen looks ready to shock the league by taking a big step up in his play. He’s in tremendous shape, super quick, quickest in the league? Lights out shooter, ball movement. His defense still needs work, but he’s clearly putting the work in. Slacked off some at that end late, but was getting tired. Love what I’m seeing!

KMJ is a natural at the 3. He was having fun out there - hitting 3’s, moving the ball, real effort on defense and it made a difference. I hope we keep him. I think Tari wanted more minutes. Didn’t find a good rhythm, in my opinion, but he continues to impress me. What a steal!

Gotta give props to KPJ. Seemed to have a different role. Not so much “I’m the point guard, I’m in charge” on the court, more off-ball play mixed in, promoting really good ball movement and taking full advantage of catch and shoot opportunities, several he helped create. Have to see if this’ll stick, but I liked how he played tonight. Color me surprised!

Sengun with a slow start, but looked really good as the game progressed. I think he’s having to shake off all his time playing for the Turkish team. I was happy with how he played by the end of the game. Garuba looked like he’s getting over the same “national team/Euro ball” thing and beginning to find his NBA footing.

Gordon being showcased? Is he going to be Stoned early, not later at the deadline? I thought it weird that he got such a run. The dude’s in tremendous shape, ready for a contender. For Sale, Not Cheap! (but worth it!)

The next game counts. Be there, Jabari! Can’t wait.

 

Man lets just let the young guys play and see where we are.

If in the middle of the season we suck, pull out the tank.

If we can get in the playoffs, its worth it. I know for some people they don't see that but if our young core leads us to the playoffs that means our young core is special.

Stop drooling over every "GENERATIONAL" prospect. Wemby ain't a sure thing, he's close to it, I agree, only thing stopping him IMHO are injuries but being the worse team no longer guarantees you the #1 pick, in fact, since the draft lottery's been changed I don't think the worst team has drafted first.

Best we can do is just play the young guys and see how they do. Trade Ego, maybe Tate if the package is good, and see where things are at, see who has grown, see who has true franchise superstar potential, then go from there.

 

Green has only missed 1 free throw in 4 games, 21 of 22.
