    That is surprising to me. I thought the flexibility that Favors' contract would give the team would make him a lock. Boban seems to have really made an impression in his short time here.

    I believe that Favors should have been retained as a trading chip at the February deadline unless he requested to be waived.

    wtf? last time people were huge fans of a player the rockets signed Gary Matthews. What is Boban going to bring except applause from the stands when the game is out of reach? People cry about the fit of sengun but love them some Boban. weird.

    As long as Boban can make the children better in the locker room, I'm good. But, I want Boban getting no minutes.

    This smells like a Tilman decision. He saw how the fans reacted Boban, chanting MVP and asking for him to play. I’m thinking he was seeing this as an opportunity to bring more bodies into the stands. Boban is a nice guy but this was a bad decision.

    Rockets waived Favors for Boban to get U crazy.

    Yeah - but Favors wasn't getting minutes either.

    So keep a 10mill guy over a 3.5mill guy on the off-chance you can absorb salary for a 2nd round pick
    Or keep a 3.5mill guy over a 10mill guy to help the young guys through an 82 game season.

    A healthy locker room is pretty under rated

    I would say he fell out of favors but I do not think he was ever in favors. He was the favors of the month.
