it's actually only a select few. They just post way too much that it seems its more than what it actually is
CP3 is the last pure PG in the league and averages 13 FGA per game at 36yrs old with Booker sharing the backcourt I don’t understand how we think KPJ is a detriment to Greens development if he shoots more than 5 FGA You’d think you’d be happy to have a PG who can put the ball in the hole and relieve that pressure as Green comes into his own
Everyone is a scout, TBH - doesn't take anything special to understand a game as easy to dissect as basketball.....it is hardly rocket science. DD
100% this. It's mostly three posters who will not stop posting the same drivel over and over and over again.
There's 2 obvious posters that have over 200 posts in this very thread alone. meaning every single page you can find them with more. let that sink in lol
Have you not seen the billboards around Houston? It has KPJ only with the light the fuse line. Front office are also the culprits
Extending/Not extending KPJ is a gamble. He is either going to be great this season and cost the Rockets a few million more per season, he is going to suck and they let him walk, or he is going to be decent and they sign him to a 6th man role. The truth is no one knows. The only thing that can can be done is let the season play out.
If that’s the case, then where is KPJ’s contract extension at? Teams don’t often let a core piece hit RFA.
So, you'd say, "hey, lets put a LOT more responsibility on you and make you play out of position in the hopes it'll make the team so bad we get another top 5 pick and get a different version of the guy you already have chemistry with on and off the court" Smart.
Not saying KPJ is detrimental to Green's development, but I definitely rather those FGA go to Green or someone else. CP3 is also a (last season's 3pt dip aside) a much more efficient scorer, so you get way more bang for your buck than you would out of KPJ.
Gotta pump up my message count!! https://nesn.com/2021/08/this-report-from-chris-mannix-about-marcus-smart-celtics-aged-horribly/.
I also don't understand the logic of getting rid of KPJ for the sake of making the team bad enough for a top 5 pick. I feel like that would be detrimental to the growth of Smith and Green. We don't have a point guard right now other than KPJ sort of, who's going to start with Jalen, Christopher??
