This thread describes a dangerous trend on the Left

The violent rhetoric against the police is more dangerous. At some point, no one will even want to serve their cities and states as police officers.

 

I would say there is a difference between calling out real problems like law enforcement abuse of authority vs calling out fake problems like a proliferation of pedophile transgender people.

 

Yeah people need to quit bashing the Capitol police, they were just doing their jobs.

The folks (on both sides) that answer the poll don't see them as evil.

This demonstrates an observation from a 2022 paper. Both sides perceive the other side as seeing them as more "evil" than what the other side actually thinks of them. I blame social media.

Kaepernick was protesting and people didn't like it. Not defending either just saying if it was meant to cause happy feelings it wouldn't be protesting

 

How about Rush Limbaugh. I attribute everything about Conservative engagement in politics to him, starting with the attitude that Democrats don't even belong here. It didn't start with, Trump is the result of what started with Limbaugh

Because the thread was started on the incorrect assumption that cancel culture is strictly a construct of the left. Didn't think it was that hard to pick up on. It's not the left that threw and continues to throw a stupid hissy fit every time someone takes a knee.
